I am going to DLRP for the first time in June and was wondering if you have any *not to be missed* snacks, that you must have everytime you go!

I'd like to ask...can you get funnel cake anywhere in DLP?

In one of the arcades behind main street there is a little window that sells coffee and some cakes. They also sell sweet waffles with whipped cream & chocolate sauce, they're lovely! If you buy a hot chocolate from there, they'll also put whipped cream in it. Put them together and you've got the perfect snack for a cold winters day!

In the summer I like to get pop corn, it always smells so nice!

For me it has to be the Orea cookie milkshake at Annettes diner. To die for!!! Althiugh it's a shame that they do not serve the funnel cakes at DLRP, it's probably a good thing as I always eat far too many when I am in WDW:guilty:

Would have to be a Mickey Brioche (discovered these on the last trip) and a Casey's Corner Hot Dog- we always visit at least once during our stay!:goodvibes

Foot long hotdogs. :)

Hot chocolate and popcorn when it's cold :)

Oh that sounds sooo good. me = popcorn::

That hot chocolate sounds lovely - so does the waffles & cream....YUMMY!

I have never tried an Oreo cookie milkshake - I think I will definately give it a go as we are planning to eat at Annettes diner. I've never had a funnel cake either but it's already on my list as a must have in December when we go to WDW.....this thread is making me sssooooo hungry!

During the dry but cold weather we experienced in february, a great memory is sitting watching the Once Upon A Dream parade with hotdogs from Casey's Corner and a hot chocolate! Does life get any better?!?!?!?!:thumbsup2

Love the crepes and waffles from the kiosk in the Studios.

The crepes are cooked to order so are really fresh and made extra yummy by the addition of chocolate sauce

sorry to ask, but what is a brioche?

Here is a copy from a report.

No real meal here, we just used it for an afternoon break and each got one of these "Tea Time" deals advertised at most counter service restaurants in both parks (not at the Main Street Bakery, though!). It is one hot drink and a Mickey Brioche:

(the water bottle was an additional purchase!) The brioche was great for dipping in the cafe au lait. Surprisingly it was filled with nutella.

At first this was rather nice, but it became very overpowering with the time. Nonetheless, all three of us finished our brioche and enjoyed it.

I can't comment on the other food there, but actually the Backlot Express looked like a nice place for lunch, too. It has one huge advantage of many other restaurants: it is very light and airy in there. I always wonder why Disney makes you eat in places that are so badly lit, so this was a nice change! Also the decoration is interesting as it is the storage facilities for all kind of props you use when filming.

Crepes are another favourite of mine. With LOTS of chocolate sauce!

I'd also like to know what funnel cake is... pretty please?

Well i have not had funnel cake yet....but plan to in Dec. I was told by people on the WDW boards that it is deep fried batter strands that they drizzle in to the oil in a circular shape.....(a bit like a donut) with icing on top.
