plenty of great places...however a trip to the world isnt complete for me unless I have a hot dog at caseys (yeah I know it aint gourmet but I love them) :rotfl:

My experience is very limited, but my wife and I loved Citricos on our trip. It's the only "must" reservation we'll be making for our next trip.

Hi fellow Englishman/woman!

I know parts of Bedfordshire rather well, but as a born and bred Hertfordshire girl, it's not too difficult :goodvibes

I can't choose a favourite just yet, let me get back to you after my September trip. I can't wait to hear other replies!

I  Boma at AKL. It's my all time favorite.

Welcome to the DIS!

My favorite is Boma. Looking forward to dining there in 46 days. :goodvibes

My wife's fave is Le Cellier. Looking forward to eating there on our upcoming trip also.

I don't think I could pick just one. It'd be a toss up between Jiko, California Grill, and Narcoossee's. Chef de France is always good, but more so for the eye candy. I haven't tried Le Cellier yet. Maybe I can in my June trip.

At the parks... as in not the hotels...

Brown Derby... hands down.

Add in the hotels,

Victoria and Alberts followed by Jiko and Cali Grill.

Sorry... Its not a hot dog to me unless you can get it with mustard, onion, relish, tomato, sport peppers, and celery salt. Oh and all ketchup is banned... As Mike Royko used to say (and I'm paraphrasing)... every bad thing in the world can be traced to parents who let their kids put ketchup on hot dogs. (This is obviously tounge in cheek, although the Chicago people will get a laugh out of it.)

I like my hotdogs plain, as for a 'real' restaurant, I am not sure what I would say is my favorite

Boma all the way here! The only must-eat restaurant at WDW for me.

Really? I thought Boma was decent... the zebra domes were great and there was this mustard sauce that was AWESOME. I also loved the fact that they ask you to tell them any recipes you want and they will email them to you. Actually soliciting for it was cool. I think though my prejudice against buffets doesn't put Boma into a must go tier for me... I'm just not a huge fan of any buffets. I always preferred the family style like Ohana.

LOL... I know... I'm teasing obviously... Hot dogs are a bit of a sacred cow in Chicago... The ketchup is the big thing. No Ketchup allowed. Certain restaurants in Chicago will go all soup nazi on you if you ask.

When I worked at Disney on my first college program, I made chicago style dogs with the salad bar one day with hotdogs in the cafeteria. All the people I sat with had never seen a Chicago style dog... they had no clue. It was funny... they asked what I was eating... i said a hot dog. They asked why all the stuff was on it... I said, that's what goes on a hot dog. So they asked another person who happened to be from Chicago as well who told them the same thing. It was quite humerous.

I've actually been to Casey's... their dogs are pretty good actually... just wish I could get them made the "correct" chicago way ;-)

I enjoy buffets where I can select from a variety of foods. and I do try to sample small portiosn and not over-eat.

Tusker House and Crystal Palace in the parks for lunch. Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner.

At Epcot - To please everyone in the group with different food stations, try Sunshine Seasons.

Sunshine Seasons does have some good grub.

Right now I have two "best bets" when it comes to eating in WDW. The Flying Fish and Citroco's. I love everything about these two places - food, atmosphere, service. Eating at either of these locations can "make my night" every time. I love to linger and let the staff take care of me.......
