I've poured over the menus and seen them here and there - where's your favourite place for breakfast that has Mickey waffles?

As much as I'm thinking they are for the kids.. I want one too. :)

Also looking for places that have different sizes (I have seen full plate size or mini ones).

Thanks for your help!

We have had them at Goofy's, Minnie's Breakfast and Surf's Up - honestly they are the same ones at each place - at least I can't tell the difference.

Last time we were there my son had FIVE for breakfast - that lasted him awhile.

Two days later we arrived at the Tomorrowland rope drop which was being supervised by a CM from Plaza Inn - she recognized my son and said "Heh, I know you, you really like waffles!" He was some proud of himself.

Thanks - we have the plaza on our list but also looking for cs too. Funny that she remembered your son! :)

I am debating reserving a table for breakfast at either Steakhouse 55 or Carnation Cafe because they serve the full size Mickey waffles and will adorn them with fruit like bananas foster and warm berries!! Yum! I think I'll settle on Carnation Cafe just so we're already in the parks ready to play after breakfast!

I had a full size Mickey waffle at the cafe on the ground floor of Paradise Pier (I can't remember what it's called) - it was delicious and my only regret was that I didn't try one until the last morning of our trip! My daughter also had the mini ones at Whitewater Snacks.

My kids would love that - where did she find it?

There a bunch of different options if you google "mickey waffle maker". We have the one that is belgian style and makes 4 small waffles at a time. It works great.

Carnation cafe is the best choice. They have the full sized waffles which are way better than the small ones and it is right on Main Street. If you sit outside you get to take in everything that is Disneyland while u eat your waffle

I suggest the Plaza Inn but I enjoyed the french toast much more than the waffles. They are at the same station so it's easy to grab one of each to try!

The mickey waffles at the PCH grill at PPH were the smaller ones last few times I was there.

Can you get the waffles any meal or only breakfast time, and how late does that go, if you know, and do you need a ressie?

Hmm, is this a buffet or something? And, do you know low late breakfast is served and are ressies needed?

I didn't realize both these places had breakfast! Are they real expensive with characters and all, or just regular meals? If there are characters, does anyone know which ones are usually there?

I love Mickey waffles and bacon breakfast!i

I don't know if you can get waffles all day and when it would end if they do stop serving. We usually make a reservation the day before but you can walk up and usually not wait too long. We love carnation cafe for all meals

Carnation Cafe is a regular sit down restaurant where you order a la carte. Their menu is available HERE. Waffles are only available at breakfast which is served until 1030 or so.
Plaza Inn is usually a counter service restaurant but plays host to the Minnie and Friends breakfast buffet every morning. Description and prices HERE.

Plaza Inn is the cheapest character meal and the one where you'll see the most characters. Carnation Cafe you can order as much or as little as you want. Both are right on Main Street and are a lot of fun
