Bringing the whole family for the first time in years! The littles have never been. I used planning guide Books Years agO but I know there are great websites and blogs for helping us to plan best days of week for parks, ride guides etc.

Can you share your favourites?! Thankyou!! 🙋‍♀️

Touring plans website (for crowd calendars, general information and touring strategies)
Kenny the Pirate website and app (for details about meeting characters, parades, etc)
Disney Food Blog youtube channel (food and restaurant reviews and general park strategy)

I just got back from my first trip back in 15 years and Touring Plans was great for us. I got a paid account and it was so worth it because I was able to map and plan every day out (I may have been a little over the top with it, haha) Plus they have an app so you can check it while you're in the park.

Did you find the crowd planning calendar pretty accurate? Like best days for parks etc? I was looking over it all and I think I will get a paid account too, seems worth it! And I completely get over the top, ha! I was a drill sergeant years ago when we took the older kids when they were young. It was worth it as we seen so much! I’ve been waiting to take the younger ones and I am so excited. It seems so much more complicated now though. Any other tips?

I think in general it was pretty accurate. There were a few wait times that were a little off, but really it just helped me to have an organized plan and know where to go from point A to point B instead of wandering around the park the whole day. We were also lucky that we went during a very low crowd time, so if I had been there during a busier week it might have been a different experience.

My favorite blog is disneytouristblog.com - he has an email list that sends you the highlights and news once a week so you don't have to remember to keep checking the site.

I found the day planners on touring plans (where you put in what rides you want and it can put them in a good order for you and predict wait times) to be incredibly inaccurate. Maybe it was the time of the year we went (first week in February) or some other error. It would predict a 10 minute wait for its a small world at 9am, for example, and in actuality it was more like 45 minutes. I couldn't believe how much they were off. It did give me good advice for order of park and walking times, etc, but some things were very wrong.

Ok good to know!! I worry about planning which day of the week is best for each park from them and then getting that wrong! 😬
