I've found a ton of posts trashing the quality of food, especially at buffets, what would be the top 5 recommendations of better meals you have?

Thanks!

My choices for best food quality ..

Flying Fish
Calif Grill
Jiko
Narcossee's
Cape May Cafe
Boma
Sanaa

Hhhmmm, that's tough because I think just about everywhere we've eaten has been great!

1TS I would say our favorites are:
1) Le Cellier, though I know they are becoming 2TS
2) Teppan Edo
3) 50's PT
4) WCC
5) Ohana's (though we've only done breakfast, it was our favorite morning meal!)

2TS:
1) Yachtsman
2) Narcooses
3) Hoop Dee Doo

Sorry, that isn't five I know!

My list could be so much longer, but those are our favorites for sure.

1. Citricos
2. Flying Fish
3. BlueZoo
4. California Grill
5. Fulton's
6. Le Cellier
7. The Plaza (simple well prepared fare)
8. Grand Floridian Cafe

These are just some of our favorites and our opinion, any restaurant can have an "off night" Our experiences at Le Cellier and California Grill have not been as wonderful lately but they still make our lists. Grand Floridian Cafe has been moving up for us lately.

We have had very experiences with Disney food. Our favorite would have to be LeCellier. We love crystal palace dinner, Cape May Cafe, Narcooses and Tusker HOuse. We have never had a really bad meal in WDW.

You will get so many different answers here you will be more confused than before you asked the question. For us top 5 follows:
1-V&A
2-Artist Point
3-CG
4-Flying Fish
5-LeCellier
But remember you asked food qualty, which is not the same as dining experience. Also Swan/Dolphin restaurants are not "Disney" so should be judged on a different scale. So to compare HDDR to Artist Point to Il Mulino
is comparing apples to bananas to oranges. We have always had a great meal at R&C but I would never compare it to a great meal at FF. Shula's is spactacular but not possible to compare to HDDR, which may be the best dinner experience for a family. Note experience, not dining.

My top 5 would be:

1. Citricos
2. V&A
3. BlueZoo
4. California Grill
5. Artist Point

I also enjoy Flying Fish, Shula's and LeCellier.

1. Sanaa
2. Chefs de France
3. Shula's Steakhouse
4. Garden Grill
5. Sunshine Season Food Court

Sorry I like the buffets (at dinner too) at Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's.

My 5 are:

Whispering Canyon Cafe
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
Ohana
Wolfgang Puck's Express (marketplace)
LeCellier

Not in that order, but those are 5 we don't miss.

At the resorts(never been to V&A, Narcoossees, Artist Point, or Shula's):

Bluezoo
Il Mulino
Citricos
Flying Fish
Jiko

At the parks:

Hollywood Brown Derby
Bistro
Le Cellier
Chefs de France
Coral Reef

we enjoying eating at the following restaurants:

Citricos
Narcoossee's
Brown Derby
Flying Fish
Jiko
Chefs De France
Grand Floridian Cafe
Boma breakfast buffet
Cape May Breakfast buffet
Tusker House Breakfast buffet
Le Cellier
Via Napoli
Kimonos

We really liked so many places. But our favorite places were

1) Flying Fish
2) Jiko
3) Le Cellier
4) Teppan Edo
5) 50's Prime Time

I'm surprised no one has listed the Wave yet. It is in my top 3! We love that place. As far as other places we like:

Narcoossee's, Kona, Chef Mickey's (breakfast only - dinner was horrible), 'Ohana.

We're hoping to add more to that list after our next trip. We're trying quite a few new places including Kouzzina, La Hacienda de San Angel and Chefs de France. I've heard lots of good things about all 3 places.

1. Victoria & Alberts
2. bluezoo
3. Il Mulino
4. Bistro de Paris
5. Flying Fish

1) Jiko
2) Jiko
3) Jiko
4) Jiko
5) Cali Grill
6) LTT
7) TE
8) Sunshine Seasons as well here... haha

My 5 are:

Whispering Canyon Cafe
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
Ohana
Wolfgang Puck's Express (marketplace)
LeCellier

Not in that order, but those are 5 we don't miss.

I will second that except for Chef Mickey's (which used to be one of my favorites), until they get their food quality and more choices back up to where they used to be. I would also recommend Tusker House. I am not fond of many of the signature restaurants Disney has.
