Do you remember---

1) The one where the young adult(s) talking about the first time "they" are going to WDW without him/them and he isn't sure how they will do without him and then it cuts to the guy's PARENTS having a blast at the park.

It was one of a series of commercials showing older adults going to WDW w/out kids and enjoying themselves.

2) The young girl almost dragging her big linebacker boyfriend into the park, almost kicking and screaming, and then over the course of the day you see clips of him warming up to the park and at the end of the night he is wearing Mickey Ears and begging for just one more ride and she is exhausted

3) You see a mailman "singing (and dancing) in the rain" and just completely enjoying delivering mail because he his delivering the WDW planning videos.

What commercials would you like to see come out of the vault?

I always loved the one where the the little boy and girl couldn't sleep because they were so excited to go to Disney and then it goes to the parents and the dad says he can't sleep because he is too excited. It wasn't too long ago, but I really liked that one!

1) This is an old one, shown on the Disney videos. It had 2 little brothers, the older one describing WDW to the younger one. He ends with "we'll be leaving in about...3 weeks". Too cute!

2) This is one of my favorite all-time commercials. It has a little boy describing Disney to his grandfather(?) in Sign Language! I just love it!

My mum and I still quote that ad to eachother before trips :goodvibes:

I don't even remember all of it, but basically it focuses in on this little kid who's just...in absolute awe...staring with wide eyes and his mouth hanging open...and then his parents come up and say something like "This is just the outside." And they walk off down Main Street.

I'm freakin' tearing up just thinking about it.

The Remember the Magic Commercial that they did for the 25th anniversary. I can still hear the song in my head. The song alone makes me tear up.

There was one, I think for the Disney Store.......

A young couple are out for a fancy dinner and the guy stammers that he has gotten her something very special. She is very hopeful as she thinks it is a ring. He puts a shoebox in front of her and she says...." Shoes. You got me shoes." with a very sour expression on her face. After a bit more back and forth he insists that she open the box and inside is a glass slipper and he asks her to marry him.

I got teary each and every time I saw it on the big screen at the Disney Store. I worked there...so I got teary A LOT!

It is an older one where a son probably mid 30s is calling his parents and the Mom is saying she is sorry but what about his wife, and kids and job but he cannot go to WDW with them this time. The son looks heartbroken his parents are going without him...that really cracked me up, I wish they still showed it :lmao:

My favorite is the one where the couple is in bed and the wife tells the husband that they're "drifting" because he doesn't talk to her in that "special way" anymore. He insists they aren't drifting but she sadly turns over and tries to fall asleep. So finally, he leans into her ear and whispers "I love you," IN DONALD DUCK'S VOICE. It's the greatest commercial period. Not just disney commercial.

That one was part of the series what I call the "empty nesters go to WDW" series. I wish they would bring them back again.

Thank you for posting the links to the ads. I had never sseen the YOMD one. It made me cry. I miss being there so much, it's like being away from home. It sound sso corny, but I used to feel just like that when I went into work, and seein that reminded me how much I loved working for Disney and how much I want to go back.

I also loved the one from the other thread with Walt's parents. I don't suppose you have a link to the Remember the Magic commercial? I tried searchin for it last night and didn't have any luck.

Anyone remember the one where the baby takes her first steps at Disney World?

I also love the time machine one somebody already mentioned.
