Favorite Villas and Why

We just got back from a great vacation at BCV's. Hooked up with RouteManDan and his DW. Highlight of our trip!

Anyway, what's your favorite DVC property and why?

Our rating right now:
BWV's because it's so central to what we like to do (the slide at the pool is great, too!) and VWL because of the atmosphere of that resort (plus dad loves taking out the Mouse Boats with his son).

VB because of personal ties to the area and just love the R&R
OKW size of Villas and the laid back Conch Republic feeling but still close enough to the magic

Fortunately, everyone has different favorites! I have 2, depending on the main purpose of the trip-OKW for real restful, vacation feel. BCV for being closest to the parks, yet not overly busy. Least favorite (even I'm surprised at this)-VWL, simply for attitude of CMs I've encountered there-too bad, it's so beautiful.

For me, although I like all the DVC resorts to varying degrees the one that captured my heart from first sight was BWV. It is my favorite because of the wonderful, convenient location, the sheer beauty of the resort and the whole Epcot area, and the festive boardwalk atmopshere. It just says vacation to me! I also really like BCV also for the wonderful location and of course the amazing pool but the views from a large % of the villas do not thrill me. I find plenty of quiet and relaxation around the BWVs--in our villa, on our balcony, at the quiet pool and at it's hot tub, walking the path to MGM, walking the boardwalk first thing in the AM, etc and I also have the luxury of fantastic restaurants, parks, clubs and night time entertainment right outside my door. To me it is a complete vacation experience. It is vacation pampering at it's best. I also really like the upscale, deluxe atmopshere of BWV but yet it is not a stuffy atmopshere but a fun, carefree atmopshere. Disney could not have built a better DVC resort for me, I love it and can't wait to go back in just 5 days!!!!

Ours too buddy!

Our favorites are OKW for the size and laid back feel and VWL for the atmosphere,EWP and short boat ride to MK and contemp.
