Family of 5 - 3 adults between 20-30 and us two 'real kids' over 50. Any input?

Not a villa, but I would recommend the Swan or Dolphin. They have a great pool, pool bar and restaurants. They feel more adult to me with less in your face Disney decorations.

I would recommend either the Boardwalk Villa or Saratoga Springs both for location and "adult" focused evening activities.
Boardwalk is a great area within walking distance of 2 parks and great restaurants and a few fun bars.
SSR has easy access to Disney Springs for all the things restaurants/shops.
Have a great trip

Beach Club Villas are nice. Access to Stormalong Bay, And well located in the Epcot area. Easy access to world showcase. Walking to Studios, located next to the Boardwalk area is nice for evenings, renting surry bikes, food and such.
We stay at The Beach Club with our adult kids all in their early 20's, and they like that resort over any other. For the resort itself, the pool, and most of all the location.

Boardwalk or AKL are our favorites, AKL (at least kidani, not sure about jambo) also gets you a third bathroom in a 2 bedroom villa, which nets you a 2nd bathroom in a one bedroom villa. AKL is also super relaxing and has some adventurous food choices.

Boardwalk has a lot of cool stuff at the resort and walking distance to epcot and in theory Hollywood Studios (i'd rather take the boat). You're also within boating/walking distance of restaurants at Swan and Dolphin and Beach/Yacht

SSR is a close second with easy access to three different areas of Disney Springs via walking path behind Congress Park (Marketplace side), boat behind the Carriage House/Grandstands (center) section or bus access (regular resort loop closer to Cirque/House of Blues side.

I would consider BWV or BCV. The EP area is so great for adults - tons of restaurants, walking distance to EP and DHS. The Boardwalk area has more of a night life (entertainment, two 21 and over clubs), but I would take a look at the pool set-ups at the resorts and see which you would like better.

BWV has no dedicated 2-bedrooms - only lock offs - 1 queen bed and double sleeper sofa in the 2nd bedroom. BCV does but only 25 units has the 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom.

SSR has the 2 queen beds in all their dedicated units.

We loved Kidani as a group of 20-30 somethings. But the boardwalk would be my first choice!

Just a point of clarification so as not to confuse OP - There is no longer a bus stop near Cirque/House of Blues. There is only 1 central stop now

Yeah I guess a better descriptor would be bus access which drops off near AMC, just forgot the name of the side opposite marketplace which the main central bus loop is now closer to than the old bus loop at marketplace still used for offsite hotel drop off

I'd vote for OKW -- the villas are huge, and really give everyone privacy and space.

I agree on OKW. It was the first DVC so the rooms are massive. My wife and I stayed in a 3 bedroom with my parents and my adult brother. We each had tons of room. It felt more like a vacation home than a hotel.

Second recommendation would be BLT. We just stayed in a dedicated 2 bedroom in February. The layout worked really well and it has three full bathrooms so three people can shower and get ready at once. Then you can walk to MK or take the bridge over to CR and grab the monorail.

BLT and AKV-Kidani Village will have two bedroom villas with a third bathroom next to the entrance to the villa. Five adults and three bathrooms might be the way to go.
