Favorite Vegetable?

What's your favorite vegetable..just curious. And what way do you enjoy them the most?

Green beans are my favorite, I can eat them right out of the can or fresh from the garden.

I voted for corn. But really anything fresh from the garden is wonderful.

I like almost all vegetables. I chose tomato, but broccoli and potato are right up there with it. I also love lima beans, spinach, asparagus, cucumbers, baby corn, beets, and artichoke.

I spinach. It is so good in pasta where the heat of the pasta makes it wilt slightly. Yum! In Greek dishes wrapped in phyllo dough with feta. Creamed spinach. Jelly rolls of bread dough with spinach and cheddar in the middle. Spinach dip. Saag paneer (Indian food).

So many uses so delicious!

Gotta be potatoes... although I don't think anyone really puts it in the same category as the others... it sure is versatile though!!

I love almost all vegetables. Can't pick just one so I didn't vote. I love onions, use tons of them in everything. I could make a meal out of potatoes, you can do so much with them and I just love them. Other faves...sugar snap peas, asparagus, artichokes, any type of lettuce salad and any veggies you can throw in.

I do NOT like turnips or rutabagas.

I chose "other" too; asparagus & broccoli are my first choices. I don't have a steamer so I put them in a glass covered dish with a splash of water & put in microwave & push "fresh vegetable" button. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Butter is my favorite topping but cheese sauce is good too. We also love a good baked potato but it's gotta be from Idaho!

I love many veggies. I chose peas because I love LeSeour baby peas. I also love carrots, radishes, celery, tomatoes, yellow squash...the list goes on. I'll pass on green beans, okra or eggplant.

Hey I cut a very unwripe tomatto today and as I looked at the inside it really made me wonder.

Is the pomegranite related to the tomatto?

Probably my very favorite is fresh, in season sweet corn- on the cob, roasted on the grill and slathered with butter and salt. Delish!!
