:p Getting ready for Disney always brings up conversations about Mickey Ice Cream and Strawberry Shortcake. What is your favorite goody at Disney???

I cant name just one, but the German Chocolate cake and any of the cookies at the Gourmet Pantry in DD are the best.

My favorite is the very large rice crispy treats covered in chocolate at MGM (the villian sweet shop). I was goign through some things today in prep for Easter trip and I found my reciept--mentioned how I could not wait to get another of those! It's not like I couldn't make it, but there's something special about these!;)

My favorite sweet??? Goodness, I have such a sweet tooth it's hard to pick just one!

1) Caramel apples (just made!) at the Main St. Confectionary
2) Creamsicle fudge from the M.S.C.
3) Marguerita candy from the Mexican pavilion in Epcot
4) Chocolate covered frozen bananas
5) Chocolate chip cookie/ice cream sandwiches from the Main Street Bakery (drinking from my M.S.B. coffee cup as I type this!)
6) Creme brulee from the French pavilion in Epcot
7) Red Velvet Cake from Hollywood and Vine lunch buffet

One of these days I'm going to do a "dessert tour" of WDW!

I love getting a churro...and I used to always get a bag of sourballs and munch on them during my whole trip...not that you can't get sourballs at any candy store, but it was my ritual for a long time!

My favorite are the Hercules Ice Cream bars. They did change the name to something else when we were at WDW this summer. They are chocolate ice cream on a stick with caramel in the inside then covered with chocolate. We also like the chocolate-moose(kids mousse shaped like a moose with cookies) at Le Cellier at Epcot.

When I had the ice cream with the caramel in it, it was a Goofy bar. Recently it was a Millenium bar.

I love the chocolate dipped marshmallows on a stick, no sprinkles, etc. Just chocolate (but could be drizzled with white chocolate or milk chocolate).

Caramel corn from Sleepy Hollow.

Tollhouse cookie ice cream sandwiches from Sleepy Hollow.

Where do I begin? LOL!!

Mickey shaped rice crispie treats w/ chocolate covered ears.
Cheesecake brownie from Boardwalk bakery.
Sugar coated almonds.
And last time we were there I had a cookie from Germany that was covered in coconut and caramel...YUM! Definately looking for another one of those!

Oh my gosh - don't get me started... but I am a real sucker for Funnel Cakes, plain with powdered sugar.. yummm

I remember as a kid frozen chocolate & nut covered bananas... they still have these things? I thought they were ice cream and my parents bought me one and I discovered it wsa fruit.. blech!!

I was traumatized.

>>^..^<<

but my youngest had a tooth that was almost ready to fall out, and she was bummed for most of the trip that she couldn't have her "banana" because the darn tooth wouldn't fall out!

I sure hope they still have them.... when I recently asked my kids what they planned on spending their Disney Dollars ( they earn D.D. once a month by doing a major chore) on, they all three immediatly said "chocolate bananas"!

What a bummer your first time was so lame!

yum...the pretels in that wonderful bakery in Norway drizzled with frosting and sliced almonds...yum

Pecan pralines from POR. I thought these were originally available only at POR, but I recall I recently read on DIS they are now available at MK too. Pure sugar...pure delight!:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

The freshly made ice cream cookies at Sleepy Hollow in the MK.
You have to eat them pretty quickly because the cookies are usually fresh & warm!

Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar

Cotton Candy

Rock Candy

Jelly Belly Jelly Beans

Mini Zebra Domes

Beignets (French Quarter food court)
Ice Cream Sandwiches (Main Street Bakery)

I'm getting hungry

favorite - cinnamon roll at Tusker Bakery
ditto for the beignets (POFQ)
and, a tradition, is the Mickey ice cream bar
wonderful topic!

My favorite sweet fix is the fresh pineapple and carmel sauce O'hauna's serves after your meal. It's so so so:) good.

I also love the carmel apples. They are so big and coated good, although they are quite messy. For a little treat, i like the covered Oreos.

Dole whip--the one swirled with vanilla.

Cinnamon rolls and skol brods from Kringala Bakery.

Hot fudge sundaes and cafe mochas from Ghirardelli.

Chocolate mousse cake from the Boulangerie.

Best sweet I ever had at WDW was the Chocolate Hazelnut Pyramid dessert at California Grille. To die for.

I always stop at the Bake shop on Main Street and get the Mickey shaped cakes - one of each (chocolate and vanilla). My 2 year old loves them!!! Me too - they aren't too sweet.

Also love the Beaver Tails at World Showcase (Canada). Love the cin/sugar, did not like the hazelnut/choc.
