favorite studio?

We are going next year for Christmas. We just signed our deed for SSR and will book a studio at the 11 month mark. I am seriously thinking about trying a diiferent resort at the 7 month mark. Which location is your favorite DVC studio and why? Thanks!

I love all of them for different reasons. We usually pick our location depending on what we want to focus on during the trip. This Christmas we choose WL since it has the boat access to MK. Make sure you do call at your 7 month booking day for the best opportunity to switch. Even if I would be "stuck" at SSR over Christmas it would still be a fantastic trip.

I generally agree with the Previous Poster-my favorite studio generally depends on the focus of the trip. But probably, the overall favorite for me is BCV. BWV doesn't have coffee tables in their studios (although they were promised about 5 years ago), so it really feels strange to not have anywhere to put my feet up while watching TV. Don't like the 2 beds at OKW-it seems too much like a hotel room. AKV and VWL seem like a rather long walk to the CS to me (although I do love the food at Mara/AKV). And I guess I'm a fan of the little shelf on the wall by the door at BCV. So convenient to park your room key!

I'll give up a coffee table to have a view of the Boardwalk and Crescent Lake!

If you are going for Christmas, you may not get much of a chance to try your favorite non-home resort. I can be hard to book non-home resorts at 7 months out for Christmas.

But if I had to stay in a studio, I'd go with OKW because of the two real beds and the very large bathroom.

Thanks so much for your input! I am hoping that since we arrive the 22nd we might get a jump start on other 7 monthers BLT would be my first choice, since most of our time would be spent in MK. I do like the idea of 2 beds in OKW. DH wants to stay at AKL. We have about 180 points to work with. Thanks!
