Favorite start park and favorite end!!

Whats your favorite park to start a Disney World vacation? Whats your favorite Disney World ending?!

We always go to Epcot our first evening at WDW, we usually fly in and get there by mid afternoon. And we always spend our last night at MK, watch Wishes before our flight home the next day. Must end at MK!

We usually end at Epcot because we stay at Epcot resorts and it's easy. We don't start anywhere in particular, just what ever we feel like when we arrive.

See, I've always started at MK but I think you're right! I need to try ending there! I wish we could end with Wishes but I'm too afraid we would tire out and miss it if we didn't do it early in the trip!!

Epcot and Epcot! Easiest to get in and out and on the way back, it's a straight shot to the airport.

I start at different ones, depending on park hours, time of arrival, day of the week, etc. but I ALWAYS end with the Magic Kingdom. There is something about watching Wishes (usually with tears in my eyes) and turning around at the beginning of Main Street to take one last long look at the castle before I say goodbye. It's always one of those "take a photo with your mind" kind of memories. One year it rained on our last night and I was devastated. I usually go the next to last night now if there is rain in the forecast so that I won't miss out on Wishes.

We vary our starts. We have never started at MK but we will vary it from the other three. This June we are starting at Epcot. We have started at AK and DHS before in the past.

We always always end at MK no mater what. Sometimes we leave around 3 with a wave to the castle. Sometimes it is Wishes....but it is always MK.

Arrival day is Epcot. We love that park, and getting our FPs for Soarin' & our first lap of the World Showcase under our belts. Our favorite end is a late dinner at Ohana. Nothing says "family" like that meal, and trying to help each other back to the resort when you've eaten so much that you can't bend in the middle!

I'm thinking about doing Wishes out first night for this very reason! If it rained on our last night I would be a mess!!!!

Usually we start at DHS and end at MK, but in December we totally switched it up and started with Animal Kingdom (although we did evening at DHS), and split our last day between MK and DHS (For Fantasmic)

I start the trip at the park with the lowest crowd levels etc but, if I have park hoppers for the trip, the first NIGHT will always be at the MK. Last night is always MK as well.

We generally have something we want to do the first night and generally it's someone to eat dinner in one of the parks so we start with that park. Generally that park also closes before MK so we also hop to take a walk around mk..

I'd say we're happiest when we start at MK though. There is just something about that victory lap around the castle that lets you relax because you made it. We don't even care if we ride anything, we'll just walk around and enjoy that we made it..

of course I also moved so the last time was about a year ago that we did this but even as a local, there is something special about MK and we're still known to go somewhere else and just go to mk anyway.

now the end, the last night is at MK and we close the place down.. the next morning, sometimes we dont' get anywhere especially if mk was opened til 1 or 2 am. but we do like to have lunch somewhere before we leave so a lot of times we just do that at springs.

We basically start and end at table service and that can take us anywhere.
