Favorite Signature Restaurants

Me and my husband are going to be coming in august for 4 nights and will have deluxe dining plan. Want to try some of the signature restaurants that take 2 dining credits. Only one we have done so far is Citricos. Please give me some of your suggestions. will be making reservations on February 6th.

I was just there over New Year's and my favorites were Artist Point and Jiko. Where else are you eating?

We always try to get Le Cellier and Teppan Edo and enjoy Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom and 50's prime time in DHS. I have always wanted to try Kona for breakfast and I am Looking for at least 3 signatures.

We like CA Grill a little better than Citrico's with Jiko running a close third.

We've eaten at all of them at least 3 times and I would place them in this order (based on average experience):

Flying Fish, Jiko/Citricos (tied), Ca Grill, Brown Derby, Artist Point/Yachtsman (tied) and Narcoosees.

Flying Fish is consistently good, we enjoy the fish, wine flights, the cheese tray. Jiko has been hit/miss but the unique appetizers and wine offerings keep it towards the top. Citricos has been consistently above average even though the menu remains pretty much the same. Ca Grill has good sushi and flatbreads, the rest of the menu is underwhelming and every piece of meat here I've had has been overcooked. Brown Derby has the best seared tuna but it's so noisy there. Artist Point has decent food, not amazing, and I personally hate the decor/feel of this place. Yachtsman is a steakhouse with the menu of any other steakhouse and is not as good as others I've been to (the filet is good but the other cuts have been disappointing). And Narcoosees is casual, we enjoyed our first meal here a lot but every trip since has been disappointing in food quality and overall experience.

We've eaten at:California Grill, Jiko's, Hollywood Brown Derby & Narcoosee's. All were very good-my favorite was California Grill, love the flatbread & the filet was awesome

We have eaten at Citricos, Narcoossee's, Jiko, Flying Fish, Brown Derby and CRT. I love Citricos, Narcoossee's and Brown Derby. I think you at least have to eat once at CRT (love eating inside the castle). My husband loves Jiko, Narcoossee's and Brown Derby. I have been reading great reviews on Artist Point and want to try in on our next trip.

Dined at all of them many times with the exception of Flying Fish...we're relative newbies there since I think it's only been four times. Oh, and Le Bistro....only dined there once and so long ago that I can't fairly rate it.

I think all are very good. My two favorites are California Grill and Citricos. Flying Fish and Narcoossee's are next followed by Jiko but only because of my own dining preferences. That's why YSH is lower in my book as I rarely order steak. Artist Point is probably tied with it.

It's been years since we've had dinner at Brown Derby but I love lunch there.

Members of my own family would rank these differently. Personally I would decide based on the menus. All have good to great Disney service.

DH's #1- Jiko - good portion sizes, and a nice mix of veggies- just the very best food we had.
DH #2- Cali Grill- great flatbread, and we really enjoyed the window front view at our table.
# 3- Narcoosees- Really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, mussell appy, and I really loved dH's dessert, but did not care for my own~ weird, huh?
# 4- the Flying Fish Cafe- apps were really great, but entree was not, dessert was really great.

I really like all the first 3 almost equally, and the TFFCafe is no where in the same league IMO...

Meals we ate that were almost as good as signature:
Kona Cafe dinner
Wolfgang Puck Cafe at DTD
Akershus dinner- we go there for the food, not the princesses

If you enjoy steak go to Yachtsman. One of our favorites is Jiko...yumm!
