we're going in november and are wondering which signature dining experience was your favorite? we've been to artist point and LOVED IT but we're looking to broaden our horizons. any sugestions?

Well, I'd hate to say that there is no place to go but down (but that's how I feel -- Artist Point is the best! :thumbsup2 ) For a second choice, I'd aim for Jiko. It's similarly adventurous, has similarly great service, and the food is wonderful!

I haven't eaten at every Signature Restaurant, but I have eaten at Citrico's Narcoossee's, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Jiko.
Jiko is my new favorite. We were there in April and I loved everything about it, the food, the service, the decor, everything,
Of those we have been to, we will not go back to Yachtsman Steakhouse. We have been twice and been disappointed in the food both times. It is a beautiful restaurant and the service was great, we just didn't like our meals.
JMHO

Our favorite used to be Yachtsman Steakhouse, but now we are wild about Flying Fish. The food is excellent, the service great and the decor just beautiful. If you go, try the chocolate sampler for dessert. Yum!

Of the ones we've been to here is how I rate them:

Flying Fish
Yachtsman
Artist Point
Jiko
Calif Grill

I would go back to any of them without hesitation.

Our favorite is the California Grill. We've never been disappointed there. The food is delicious, the staff attentive and the view spectacular.

I've eaten at California Grill, Citricos, and Hollywood Brown Derby. Out of those three, California Grill and Citricos are my favorite. This upcoming trip, we decided to eat at Citricos as our only signature dining. It was a hard choice, but we didn't want to take up a lot of our credits with too many signatures.

1. Narcoossee's
2. Yachtman's
3. Citricos
4. California Grill
5. Brown Derby
6. Flying Fish
7. Artist Point

Never been to Jiko

I agree!!! It was so good that we are treating the children this year. They didnt want to go last year!

We've been to Cali Grill, Artist Point, Flying Fish, Yachtsman, Bistro de Paris, Brown Derby and Jiko

Our favorite hands down is Jiko. We think they have the best menu, the best wine list, the best atmosphere, and the best overall experience

We really enjoy Narcoossee's! We ususally get the Surf N Turf, which is out of this world! I also love the crab cakes as an appie. The Key Lime Creme Brulee is very yummy as well! We like to get an ADR for the earliest seating, so our chances are best to grab a window view, you cannot beat the view of the castle! It is gorgeous!!! The service has always been top notch when we have gone there. We always take the resort launch to the GF from the MK, then back afterwards. When we go back in Feb. I am going to try the whole lobster instead of the Surf N Turf. :thumbsup2

I love California Grill--I think it's the most special restaurant there, for me, because the food is wonderful and the fireworks viewing gives me that "back in WDW" feeling. The sushi is a little variable--I have had it where it was really excellent a few times, and a few times where the nori was a little tough--but the chocolate lava cake is always superb.

I also really like the Brown Derby, although it is probably a poor deal on the dining plan, as it's a little cheaper than the other restaurants. Nevertheless, I always enjoy the "Old Hollywood" atmosphere, and the sesame ahi I had last time I was there was excellent.

I've also been to Artist's Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Jiko, and Flying Fish. I liked all of them, although less than the previously listed two. I might not have a fair memory of Jiko, as I suddenly started coming down with a hideous cold right as I arrived there! Flying Fish was probably my least favorite--I think I had some sort of potato-crusted fish that was nice but not that memorable.

I also really liked Bistro de Paris, but I don't think that's included on the dining plan. It was very good but excessivly expensive ($6 for water! Always ask first!)

I hope to fill in my card with Narcoosees and Citrico's this next trip...

Jiko would be my choice. Then Blue Zoo, California Grill, Citricos, Flying Fish.

Jiko is our favorite also!

The signature restaurants that we always frequent are:
  • Jiko
  • Artist Point
  • Brown Derby
  • California Grill
We are looking forward to adding the Blue Zoo to that list during our coming trip!

BlueZoo is my favorite, altho they aren't on DDP. Citricos & California Grill are tied with Artist Point for a very close second. Narcoossees was good, the atmosphere & Wishes from the deck were amazing.
I have not been to Flying Fish yet, but am looking forward to it this Nov. Jiko is another I am looking forward to trying.

I like California Grill and Jiko best. Artist Point is right behind those two.

Jiko is the best in my opinion great service and great food.
CG is a wonderful view, Ok food, and terrible service. We thought a bad choice for the money it cost.
FF was excellent food and service but lacked the character of the other two. The steak was the best I have ever had on property.

My ranking: 1 Jiko 2 CG 3 FF

I hated the Yahtsman steakhouse but that was just me so I wont rank it.
