Whats your favorite shop to shop in? It can be anywhere in Disney. Mine is Tatooine Traders, becasue well... incase you haven't already noticed I'm a big Star Wars fan. I collect the little pewters(I have about 32 of them) and little lightsabers(I have 8 of them) and I love going to MGM just to go there. I spend alot of money there usually.

Zawadi Traders @ AKL. They have some really unique items, and the CM's there are always friendly!

without question...Villains in Vogue at the Studios..always visit there, always purchase something. :maleficen :hmghost: :maleficen :hmghost: :maleficen :maleficen

I'm a big Puffin's Roost fan. Every time I go to Norway I have to check it out. Their Helly Hanson stuff is really great, so I usually end up getting a sweatshirt, hat, or t-shirt there.

I love the emporium at MK. There's just about everthing I look for when I go.

I still have a very special place in my heart for 28 days of Christmas in DTD though. I always find beautiful ornaments....and have a hard time trying to choose.

I really like MouseGears at Epcot...I can always find something to spend my $$$ on there!!!

I can't narrow it down, so I'm going to say the whole World Showcase. I've decorated half my house (and counting) with the things we buy there.

-The World of Disney at DTD
-The Confectionary at MK...need I say anything? :thumbsup2
-MouseGears at Epcot
-SummerSands at DTD
-The Stitch store when you come out of Stitch's Great Escape

Mousegears!!! There is so much to choose from, and I even love the clicking noise, it makes me want to shop!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Art of Disney at DTD (the one in Epcot isn't bad either). I told DH that it's probably good that we live so far away we have to fly. That way I don't buy much, because I'm afraid it might break. Just think of what I'd do if I just had to put it in a car! Spend, spend!

Darth Sidious - It's been 15 years since I've been to the studios, and my boyfriend (big Star Wars fan) has never been there. He is really looking forward to Tatooine Traders though nither of us know what merchandice to expect there.

Could you elaborate a bit on what to expect?

thanks

Mouse Gear in Epcot! We bought our first WDW merchandise there during our first trip together in '91 - now, 15 years later (and lots of $$$$ later) it is still our favorite! :thumbsup2

Darth Sidious, I'm with you. I spent quite a bit of money at Tatooine Traders last year. Hope they have some cool new stuff for Ep 3 this time!

Travelgrl, in addition to the basic toys and stuff, they have cool t-shirts, post cards, magnets, pictures and other little novelties. I bought all the kind of stuff that can't be found in stores around here.

It was fun just looking at the outside of the building- your boyfriend should enjoy that. I was a little disapointed that the AT AT was only the metal framework at the time. The CMs said it was in the process of being fixed. I plan to take lots of pictures of the store and ride this time- was too busy taking it all in to think about it.

Well as you can imagine they have massive amounts of star wars stuff. From those toy lightsabers that you buy in the toy stores to books and t-shirts. There are also collectable pewter figures which range from lets say $18-55 or even $60. I have about 33 of them and I love them, I buy at least 2 every year. They also have on display about 3 little mini replica lightsabers that are 45% scaled from the real one used in the movies. I would look and see what he wants from Tatooine Traders first and then buy the lightsabers at this site: http://masterreplicas.com/customer/starwars/starwars_category.php

I say this becasue in Disney they are either $60 or $65 each and on the site they are half the price. So let him take a look at what he wants and then i would buy it online, just to save yourself a little extra money. But if he wants something special from Disney then by all means, go ahead and by one or 2. I have 8 of them and I've bought 4 of them at Disney. They have magnets, t-shirts, bumper stickers, stuffed animals, books, toy lightsabers, some lego stuff and little toy figures that you would buy at any toy store. It's my favorite store like I said. Any star wars fan would love it and spend alot of money in there depending on what they like. If you have any more questions, if you want you can either email me or on AIM to get me faster becasue I don't always check the boards, but I'm always online and checking email.
