Favorite shady spot for FOF parade?

Find a spot on the south side of the walkway (the Country Bears side) in Frontierland. We watched from there a couple weeks ago and it was perfect. You may want to get there about 30 minutes before it starts. Hop over to adventureland to pick up a Dole whip or float to enjoy while you wait.

At the end of main street you can find some shade in the shadows of the train station, also offers a great view!

We like to watch in Frontierland as well. This last trip we watched once from in front of Hall of Presidents and liked it as well. Granted that is not shady there but the a/c from Hall of President's kept pouring out and actually felt better than I think the shade would have.

A great spot to watch from is the train station, not as much character interaction, but a good view with all of the tall floats.

The Casey's Corner side of mainstreet. Park yourself beside a tree, by the time the parade started we were fully shaded by the buildings. But we did get there EARLY!!

We like the train station. It only is available though if there isn't VIP viewing up there so just check around. It is shady and you can see all the details at the top of the floats.

West side of Main Street, in front of one of the entrances to the Emporium. Shade AND a/c flowing out the open shop doors! Grab something to eat and/or drink and camp out early, the Dapper Dans will probably be out entertaining the campers. If you don't mind schlepping, have a towel or small blanket to sit on, the pavement will be hot.
