Favorite Servers on the Magic

Two years ago in Palo I had the best server and cannot remember her name. Has anyone been to Palo recently and had a woman server? I would really like to request her if she is indeed still on the Magic. She had been on the ship for years so Im hoping she is still on it!

I think it may be AnnMarie? She has been in Palo for a long time. She worked on the Wonder before that (back in 2004)

I just had Andrea from Croatia at Palo. She was wonderful. Tall and blonde, if you remember what she looked like. She's been on the Magic for several years (more than 5, less than 10, iirc).

really like George (head Server). You can't go wrong with him. He has an outstanding personality and goes all out for every guest. He will ensure that you server and assistant server do a great job. They love getting people who ask for them specifically.

I know the OP has already sailed, but this is good info for everyone! Bianca from South Africa was our favorite - so sweet!

We have already sailed! Our dining team was great but I wouldn't specifically request them again (no magic tricks, just a tad slow on service, but super warm and friendly).

Our Palo guy was awesome. Andrea from Italy. I think my SIL liked him

We had George on our December 2012 cruise. He did a great job dealing with DDs food allergies. He even recognized us and greeted us when we ran into him on our May cruise this year! I wish we had requested him again as the head server that we had for this cruise wasn't as good.

We had Bennett from Jamaica during our February cruise. He was great. Very experienced. I think he had between 15-20 years on Royal Caribbean. Retired and went back to Jamaica. Decided he wanted to go back to serving on the cruise ships. Decided on DCL and has been there 2-4 years.

Loved how each night he recommended a dish for each course - "number one choice". When we couldn't decide what to order he told us to get both.

If he saw us anywhere else on the ship or castaway cay he always went out of his way to say hello and give the kids high fives.

The family that sat next to us had cruised with him the previous year. Remembered the entire family -- even that the kids loved shirley temples. I thought that was pretty amazing.

I never felt pressured to tip. He did ask us if we were pleased with everything or if there was anything we would prefer he do differently.

I would request him again.

Bruno on the Dream was fantastic! We enjoyed him very much and he remembered everyone in our parties name and we had 12 people at our table! He was even featured on the DCL documentary on Destination America. The assistant server Igor I think it was, he was great too but Bruno stuck out as an excellent server.

We had an assistant server named Kadek (pron. something like caw-deck) on the Magic in February. He was AMAZING with our 3 year old. AMAZING. He made origami animals/puppets from DS' menu every night. DS would run to him and hug him when he got to the dining room. He was just that natural with kids.

I can't remember our server's name. He was good, but Kadek was clearly the star of the team. I believe Luis was our head server.

Tiger from Thailand. he was an assistant server in May. He had a neat trick with a cup and spoon and a couple of magic tricks.

Tiger is really great.... We loved his magic tricks! He really made our trip extra special. I don't want to give it away but he might make something fly away!
Really just an amazing smile and spirit!

She had dark hair and brown eyes. I wish I could remember her name, by far the best server I have ever had on any Disney cruise. When I go on the Magic in November I will just hope to see her there!

We had Bradford from India and we were unbelievably happy with the service we got!

I am VERY surprised to see this but glad. I had him years ago and while he was REALLY nice the service was not good at all and I am not a picky person. I know it was his first cruise back on a new contract after months off and his asst server was brand new and it was her first cruise but it was not good. Maybe he was just off his game during my cruise....

Esther and Avatar were our great Magic servers in June, 2012. Esther always took time to review the menu and give us her candid suggestions after she got to know our preferences. She helped the 7 year olds make it through dinner by sharing tricks with them after dessert. Avatar delivered our drinks promptly and could make any Disney character outline with ketchup! They worked so well together and made us feel very special.

If you're just too full from dinner to eat another bite, respond "nothing" when your server asks what you'd like for dessert. Great servers like Esther will surprise you with "nothing"! Try it...see what you get.

Marcus, our assistant server on the Magic last July, was by far our favorite. Every night he had a new puzzle/riddle for us to solve at the table, and beyond that the attention he gave us was great!

Head server Richard from the Philippines and assistant server Dennis from Jamaica were on the Magic last September and we totally LOVED them. Dealt with my food allergies perfectly and they even got me strawberry ice cream to go along with my dessert every night even though I'm sure they had to go elsewhere to get it.

a few people have mentioned Deneval from Jamaica, well I think he must have been promoted permanently as he was also Head Waiter on our Transatlantic a few weeks ago.

Maybe Susana Moreira from Portugal? She has been our server a couple of times, we love her! There's some pics of her in my TR (see sig).
