I'm just curious if everyone has a favorite brand of album that they use or if it's always something different.

I'm looking for a nice quality album that is affordable and easy to find refills etc.

I'd love to hear what you all like :D

Depending on where you live will help. If you have ACMoore or Mike's then the pioneer albums are easy to find, cheap with coupons. I have used their strap hinge one and it's fine.
I do like MRs. Grossman's albums good album for the price. It comes with 20 pages (40 scraping) But I don't know if the larger chains carry them.
My all time favorite album is: Forever Yours. They are hard to find and a little pricy, around $30. They have them on line at WWW.luvtoscrap.com
But my LSS sells them and has coupons

Thanks for your favorites :)

I live in a rural area, but there are several scrapbook stores about an hour away, as well as an Archivers and Joanns, and probably others. There are also many Wal-Marts in this area.

I'm a major online shopper though, so It's not really a problem. I can find anything online hehe ;)

Pioneer I can get online at Joanns, or where I get them Get Smart Products . I love their photo albums, and have used their scrapbooks, I just want to find something different to try.

I like top-loading Dalee albums, but I have a hard time finding them anywhere but Texas. I like the Mrs. Grossman's too. I just bought my first one and feel it's sturdy. I've used several Pioneer. I have 2 Making Memories ones that I bought because I liked the cherry red color. I haven't even opened them yet so I don't know if I like them!
I'm in the same boat as you. The closest decent scrapbook store is an hour away. I haven't bought albums on the internet. I just stock up when I get to a good store.

I'm totally biased (as I am a CMC), but I love Creative Memories albums....I've scrapped for 9 years and have tried Westrim, Pioneer, Close to My Heart and I think CM has the best quality, hands down. The quality for the price is what convinced me to become a CMC. And if you find a good consultant, you're golden. princess:

I think the quality is great for the price. I'm sure if you went on their site you could find a consulant near you that you could order from.

My consultant lives an hour away from me but I still manage to spend lots of $$ from her.

Cm are great albums. I love the covers but hate the pages! I need top loading and true 12x12. The forever yours albums are very similar to CM. same type of feel and look on a shelf but are true top loading 12x12.

CTMH Albums are by far the best top-loading albums available! I used to use CM, but got sick of cutting the paper and have been trying all different types of albums. Dallee, MM, Pioneer but I really like CTMH and I am contemplating becoming a rep!

Thanks everyone for all the info and opinions.

I don't like having to trim the pages either.

I'm going to check out some of them mentioned here, and hopefully I can decide on one!

but I'm not sure and I have no clue where to get them but, if they were the ones I saw at a scrapbook show. I didn't look at their albums but I thought their page kits were outrageously priced. IMHO of course.

close to my heart I believe is a home sales company like CM or Scrap in a snap

It is a homeparty company...unlike all the others :)

We sell stamps, scrapping supplies, eyelets, great paper...and the BEST protectors on the market. ANd EVERYTHING coordinates! Which is the best part.

Pauline, you really should become a Rep! You will love us.

Ahhhhh! That explains it. It's a line I've never heard of before. There must not be any reps in this part of the country. Sounds like you're sold on their products, though, pattievers! ::yes::

I don't think there are many scrapbook products, by any company....that I don't love!

I've got to chime in on this one.

I was a devoted CM user until I discovered CTMH and became a consultant. It is so great to be able to rearrange pages, scrap out of order and use full-size 12X12 pages without the pressure of working on the back of a completed page.

The My Legacy albums are the best quality I have ever seen - anywhere (and I've seen many, many albums) and our Simple Legacy albums (that now are available in 4 colors of linen) are wonderful too, particularly for those looking for a bargain.

During Oct and Nov, you get a FREE album for signing up as a consultant and with any $50 order, you can get a 12X12 linen Simple Legacy album for only $17.95.

I hope so, MinnieAnn. I met a woman at a recent crop and she had one of these albums. It was the only one I have found that someone has put over 100 pages in it and it still looks fine. Plus, I don't have to worry about trimming pages. I will end up with over 100 pages from our Disney trip and I really wanted them in the same album. I went to the website and they assigned me a consultant in my area. She has been great to deal with (all over email). I placed my order today for the linen album (cafe color - I let me DH pick).

I will let you know what I think after I get it! :Pinkbounc

I think I may have to look a wee bit closer to CTMH! I would love to be able to put that many pages in an album! I know some who is a consultant but doesn't do parties! I think I will ask for a book!
