Favorite Rope Drop In-Room Breakfast

We usually have a granola or protein bar. Probars are great. Maybe a banana or apple on the way too. If someones showering then instant oatmeal.

A Greek Yogurt with either oatmeal or a banana. I have to have the protein or am starving about 10 minutes later.

I pack some instant oatmeal packets and heat up water through the coffeemaker. It's filling enough to keep going for a few hours. We rarely get to rope drop but this is my go-to quickie travel breakfast.

Yoghurt with cut up fruit and granola stirred in. Plus coffee.

Quoting myself: just wanted to add that I started buying the yoghurt cups at the resort quick services such as at Beach Club and at AKL. They were about $6. I found a similar concoction at Publix as low as 3 for $6. Then I started buying a large container of vanilla greek yoghurt, a small bag of granola from Aldi (I like their Simple Nature cranberry almond mixture) and a small container of blueberries, strawberries and a couple of bananas. This gave me a fresher product.

I also did dining plan for 1-2 days on a longer DVC trip where I switched resorts and could get the Yoghurt cup as a snack credit. Of course this is past practice, but hopefully things will return to normal soon.

My dh does this for his morning break snack at work every day. We stayed at a Residence Inn by Marriott a few years ago and they offered it with their breakfast buffet as a parfait and he's loved it ever since. In winter he buys a bag of frozen blueberries or mixed fruit.

I like to request a microwave, and I pack a bowl made for cooking eggs in the microwave. Nice to have some healthy protein in the morning. I also like to pack oatmeal packets, and get fruit & yogurt.

Peanut butter banana. It's go everything. Delicious flavor. Protein. Fat. Potassium. And it's really quick.

My kiddos prefer cups of Greek yogurt some days and a nice arrival day grocery order takes care of that. But peanut butter + banana is an undefeated combo for me.

Since have a kitchen...

I precook 2-3lbs of bacon the 1st night...and then my favorite rope drop breakfast is 2 slices of cold bacon with sliced strawberries and bananas and a cup of coffee. I usually slice the fruit for 6 while the coffee brews and the bacon is grab as much as you want, so it's no more work for 6 than 1, and it's quick:)...

Honestly, we grab a cup of coffee from the room and head out if it's first thing that is important to us. Grab something quick after we get in the park.

We pick up bakery items (croissants, bagels, etc.) the night before from Epcot or the Boardwalk Bakery for a quick breakfast.
