What's your favorite ride or attraction and why? Mine is Haunted Mansion. There is just so much going on with so many details (and I've always loved scary things...not that it's really scary). Each time you ride it, you see something different. My DD5 rode it last year with me and it's her favorite too. She even refers to Disney World as 'Monsters' as that's what she calls the ride. Even yesterday, 8 months since our trip asked "when can we go to Monsters again?"

Runners up are Big Thunder and Test Track.

How about others?

I love Expedition Everest! Why? Because it's awesome! I love the theming, the scenery, the thrills, the single rider line...everything! I can only imagine how amazing it would be if the Yeti wasn't broken! :D

Kilimanjaro Safari - for the animals, obviously. We booked a trip to Orlando the year AK opened pretty much specifically to ride this ride. No other single attraction has ever had that kind of draw for me - Black Anaconda at Noah's Ark would be a distant 2nd in that category.

The Haunted Mansion. We love Halloween and that attraction is classic Disney at it's finest!

Tower of Terror. It has all the elements and hits all the right notes. Great themed queue. Great themed CMs working the attraction. A pre-show, and a technologically advanced ride system that ultimately results in a "thrill". This is Imagineering at its best!

A tie between space mountain and the haunted mansion. Space mountain because it was the first roller coaster I ever enjoyed. I was scared to death of them as a kid. It's also the only roller coaster my dad has ever ridden with me. I also love that it's in the dark and the space theming.
Haunted mansion for all the reasons already stated. The theming is amazing and I find new things every time I ride. It's mine and my moms absolute favorite. We ride multiple times every trip!

Splash Mountain, what more could you want?! its a fun drop, but also is a nice long ride thrills and time to chill all in one ride plus love all the scenery

another is seven dwarfs i know it got a lot of backlash and isn't very long but the mines part alone is worth at least one view

Funny as I've never been on a lot of the favorites mentioned (Splash Mountain, EE, Kilimanjaro Safari, Space Mountain). Guess I have lots to try for next trip....ha ha.

I have two. My favorite dark/boat ride is Splash Mountain, and my favorite "thrill" ride is Expedition Everest.

That's tough because there are only a few that I don't like... I guess I'll have to go with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It's the rollcoaster that got me to liking roller coasters - I love the themeing and the ride.

Splash Mountain is my favorite. OK, the reason may sound corny, but I trust you'll understand. When I go whooshing down that drop, I pretend that all the cares of the world have gone whooshing off me. Works for a while! The ride that says "I'm in WDW" is the carousel in the MK-I know the carousel was brought in from somewhere else, but something about the music and seeing Fantasyland go round and round tells me I'm in WDW.

While all of the rides previously are great rides. Although not a thrill ride, for us our must do ride/attraction, is the "Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover". After a long day of doing the Magic Kingdom, there's nothing like giving your feet a rest & hitting the "People Mover". We never miss it.....::yes::

Agree....the theming is cool with the mountains, and it's pure fun.

I should add that Splash Mountain in my DS9 (at the time) favorite. He went on this many times.

I love how most Disney rides tell a story.

I must confess that I am a big fan of the extinct classics... Horizons, The World of Motion, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, etc. I love the Haunted Mansion (obviously), but also love Toy Story Midway Mania for being fun, interactive, and friendly for all ages.

Hard to pick a favorite but Haunted Mansion is probably it. It was my first ever attraction at a Disney park and is so full of amazing things and I love the story.

EE is a close 2nd, fix the Yeti (no I wont get over that) and it would easily take #1.

CoP is 3rd.

Tower of Terror is my favorite. The theming is amazing. The case members (unless they break character) are amazing. The ride itself is fun and offers great views when the "window" opens. Rock n Rollercoaster and Expedition Everest are in a deadlock for second.

On some backstage thing I was on (don't remember which one) they explained that EE is actually on three different foundations: one for the mountian, one for the ride and one for Mr Yeti. Mr Yeti cracked his foundation with the movement of reaching over to grab the cars and it's too invasive (months and months closed down) to fix it.

Splash Mountain...........I love the big drop........but the story that weaves through the ride is so much fun.
