I liked Cosmic Rays for a quick and casual meal. It is at Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland. I also thought the Princess breakfast at Epcot (Norway) was excellent. I loved the potatoes, kind of like an augratin hashbrown. The restaurant was Restaurant Askershus.
We had lunch at Ft Wilderness's Trails End Buffet last trip and really enjoyed it. It was a great break from the park and after lunch the kids loved the petting zoo (free) and pony rides ($3) and we saw the Main St horses. There is also a playground.
For a quick meal: Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland (MK)
The Electric Umbrella in Future World (Epcot)
Pizzafari in the Animal Kingdom
Rosie's All American Cafe in MGM Studios
For a nice sit down meal: The Brown Derby (MGM)
Le Cellier (Cananda, World Showcase)
Wolfgang Puck's in Downtown Disney
Liberty Tree Tavern (MK)
Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge)
Beaches and Cream (Beach Club Resort)
California Grill (Contemporary Resort)
And I also recommend the Hoop-de-doo Revue for a fun family meal
We're mostly counter service people... we like the Flame Tree BBQ in AK, Pecos Bill in Frontierland and Pinocchio's in Fantasyland at the MK..we also like Kona Cafe in the Poly, Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary and the Crystal Palace in the MK for breakfast.

thaks for your input everyone. we have looked at a few of these restaurants and they look pretty good. if anybody else has a favorite restaurant, please let me know so that we can make our trip as fun and tasty as possible.
My favorite is Artist Point.
DW's is Cape May Cafe.
DS's (6) is the Big McDonalds over by the All Stars resorts with the big screen showing movies.LOL
Our traditions include:
Whispering Canyon for Breakfast at least once.
Cinderella's Royal Table for a late lunch/early dinner
The Garden Grill (which unfortunately will be closed this trip as it was in January )
Sci Fi Dine In Theatre
and Prime Time Cafe
If the Garden Grill is open again when you go it is a must! So much fun and REALLY good food! I am 21 and my last trip I was 19, now I'm not a big fan of their adult menu so they let me have the kids (chicken fingers and mac n cheese)!
Rainforest Cafe in DTD is always a must as is Chef Mickey's!
We love Kona Cafe, CRT and Boma for dinner. Kona is my new favorite and now a must-do. We also like Hollywood and Vine at MGM.
Counter service: Flame Tree Barbecue in AK and Columbia Harbour House in MK (food is good and we like the upstairs seating are when it's quiet and cool.)
