We are heading back to the Fort in August and have the DDP.
I was just curious about what peoples favorite restaurants are. We have reservations for Kouzzina, Hoop de do, and Ohana. We have eaten at Kouzinna before and really loved it. We have one night of reservations left to make and we were thinking of the Morocan place at Epcot. Does anyone have an opinion on that place or can you suggest another place?

We have eaten at Kona Cafe, Kouzzina, and the Wilderness lodge on a previous visit.

Thanks

Boma or Jiko at Animal Kingdom. If you are dead set on Epcot, i'd recommend Le Cellier or Coral Reef. Morocco was 'eh' the last time we ate there; unless you are only in it for the floor show I'd skip it.

Just my $.02.

I ate there years ago and loved it. We enjoyed the belly dancing show and I remember eating a cinnamon chicken dish!

Love Boma! Also had a great meal at Coral Reef! For lunch/park food, love the Tusker House! And at Downtown Disney.....gotta have Wolfgang Pucks!:thumbsup2

Ohana used to be an every visit must....but last couple times, just not as good. They keep taking the best things off the menu! :confused3 Great...now I'm going to go to bed dreaming about bread pudding! It's gonna be a very long year....

If you want to stay at Epcot, I would go for Le Chefs de France... we usually eat there twice on a given trip! Morocco is more of a desperation play for us... the food is ok, the show is fun, and you almost never need an ADR so it is something for in a pinch. Our second favorite at Epcot is Tutto Italia, which is also very good and great service. We really enjoyed Le Cellier, but it is near impossible to get a table and a bit overpriced IMO (and the atmosphere is just so-so). If you want a brief respite from Epcot, the Yachtsman Steakhouse is a short boat ride away, as is the Flying Fish (which we really liked, though it was a bit fancy). For a complete break from Epcot, Narcoosies, Citricos and California Grill are hard to beat.

Truth be told.. I just eat (and drink) my way around EPCOT. I have always enjoyed sampling from all the countries!

Citricos.. the hidden gem in the Grand Floridian. But it is a signature, and will cost you 2 credits.

FWIW - I would use 2 credits for my dinners during free dining time rather than deal with the throngs of people trying to get reservations at the 1 credit restaurants.

We love Calif Grill, and always try and time it to catch Wishes too. :thumbsup2

Artist Point at WL is also really nice - but both of those will cost you 2 TS.

Not sure if Paradiso37 is on the dining plan yet, but if it is, that gets :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We love the CS food in Morocco, but Marrakesh has been so-so lately, and the service was pretty bad last time. Also unless something's changed, I believe there are some things on the menu you can't get on DDP.

Not sure what Puck Cafe has been like at DTD recently. Used to be one of our favorites, but last 2 trips the food was just decent and the service was horrid.

we LOVE Mama Melroses in Hollywood Studios! The food, the interior designs, everything!

Agreed! We ate there last trip for the first time (better than for the last time first trip!) and it will be a must-do on future trips. I would have mentioned it (and a few others) in my list but was trying to think of suggestions at Epcot or along the route home from Epcot.

When eating at Epcot, I guess we're in the minority. But we really enjoyed San Angel Inn (Mexico) the last time we were there. We plan to go again next January. We also plan on Garden Grill. Every time we try to get ressies there, it's always been booked. We're calling exactly 180 days in advance this time.

I Love the Garden Grill ! :thumbsup2
My family isn't as excited about it as I,,but what the heck,,as long as I'm happy.:rotfl2:
I like the experience as much as the food,,food isn't real fancy,,but it is real good, :wizard:
