Favorite restaurant for anniversary dinner

Well I think the best restaurant at WDW is Jiko's. It has incredible atmosphere and the food. Oh yeah I do love that food.

Thinking if Yachtsman. Any other recommendations?
What kind of atmosphere/cuisine do you imagine would be best for this life celebration?
Are you thinking steak and/or seafood because that's what you want to eat? Is it the convenience to where you are staying?
Or something else?

California Grill, Victoria and Abert's, Flying Fish. What kind of food are you leaning towards and is there a price limit? I like Jiko's too.

Went to Yachtsman for our own anniversary dinner this past December and would not do it again. Very good steak, but the ambiance was totally lacking and as was the execution of the other offerings, including dessert. V&A if it's in the budget for sure, Flying Fish or Cali Grill for an amazing culinary experience, or Artist Point for something quieter and more romantic.

Victoria & Albert's is top notch; Shula's at The Dolphin is wonderful for steak, Todd English Bluezoo for seafood. The Swan/Dolphin restaurants will be quieter and more romantic than the Disney ones. We also like Narcoossee's.

We both enjoy good steak so thats why I was thinking Yachtsman. I would like somewhere with atmosphere too.

My family and I are red meat eaters. We love yachtmans. We also like Le Cellier. I know most don’t like the dark dungeon atmosphere, but we love it...

Other than V&A:
1. Bull & Bear (Waldorf Astoria)
2. Capa (Four Seasons)
3. bluezoo/Il Mulino/Shula's (tie)
4. Flying Fish/Jiko (tie)
5. CA Grill

Good steak and atmosphere sounds like a plan:).

We will be eating at Yachtman's for the first time this summer having bypassed our current fav steakhouse, the Boathouse, in order to do so. Nothing wrong with the Boathouse (and much right), we just wanted to see what other steakhouses are like. The atmosphere seems appropriate for a New England style chop place: wooden chairs w/ padded seats, hardwood type flooring, ample sized tables w/ the proverbial white tablecloths. They feel confident enough in their beef to allow you to see the butcher at work w/i the aging room. Apparently, if you inform them in advance, you'll receive a personalised anniversary menu and complimentary champagne. Sounds like a fine traditional place to celebrate your day.

YSH is a great place for an anniversary (or any other) dinner! Try to get a later in the evening ADR for a quieter experience, which is true at just about any Disney restaurant.

Subbing.

Our 5 day trip is for our anniversary. On our actual anniversary we are planning on drinking around the World and then Raglan Road. Probably says a lot about our 25 year marriage. :lmao: What, we are fun. ;)

That week though we also also dining at Jiko, California Grill for brunch, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Il Mulino. Plus Tusker House, Boma or Homecomin' and then a few lounges.

V&A looks incredible! We just did the Chef's Counter at the Napa Rose at the Disneyland Resort. I wonder if they are similar? We also were lucky enough to experience 21 Royal at Disneyland; I don't think there'll be another dining experience in my lifetime that compares. :cloud9:

My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary at Disney earlier this month. We went to California Grill for our anniversary dinner, and it was wonderful. The food and service were great, and the view was awesome. We finished up our dinner in time to walk out on the observation deck and watch the MK fireworks. It was a special experience for us, so I highly recommend it.

If you are looking for something with a little more atmosphere, see if the menus at Artist Point or Jiko appeal to you.

DH and I have done our anniversary dinner at YSH the last 6/7 trips. It was the menu that appealed the most to both of us. We have enjoyed our meals there and our service has run from good to great.
