Favorite Restaurant at DHS with a 3 year old at lunch?

I got in to Hollywood and Vine with a 12:40 ADR...but after reading all the reviews here, I'm totally bummed!

Any other good FUN recs? it'll be our first day at Disney..

I've never been there, but we're going to 50s Prime Time with our 3 & 4 year old boys. It sounds like a fun place and gets good reviews. The choices in HS seem to be limited.

I'd go with Sci Fi (the kids LOVE sitting in the cars like at a drive in movie) or 50's Prime Time. Personally, H&V is one of two Disney restaurants you could not pay us to go to again.

We found H&V to be good for breakfast. My 3yo loved the Little Einsteins. Is it possible to switch to a breakfast ADR?

My 3yo son also loved Sci-fi. It was one of the first reservations he asked for on this trip. He loved eating in the cars and we had a wonderful server who made it so much fun!

We really like Sci Fi for lunch - good sandwiches & a great atmosphere. Our 4 year old had a blast last year eating in the car-table & watching the old movie clips on the big screen.

I have heard the movies at sci-fi can scare some kids? Just something to think about.

The trailers played on the screen at Sci Fi are from old movies with "giant bugs that take over the world" and "alien invaders" type stuff with quite a bit of screaming as people run away. If your child is sensitive to bugs,"aliens" or people screaming it may not be the place to go. Once, while I was there a little boy (probably about 5) was absolutely terrified and screamed and cried and hid his head the whole time. Apparently his parents felt he would get over it. I felt bad for the boy. Just a thought to consider.

Sci Fi is good for kids but the food is only blah for Adults. 50's Prime Time is lots of fun for both and has GREAT food - it is a MUST do for every trip.

Sci Fi is good, but it is a little dark! 50's PT is also lots of fun!

Sci-Fi if you think your 3 year old would like it. My DD(3) loves movies, so we are going to try it for a lunch ADR during our upcoming trip.

My kids love Toy Story Pizza Planet. (I don't like it, but my vote never counts )
