Favorite resort?

I loved all resorts I've stayed in.
OKW for the relaxing atmosphere, the 2 queen beds in a studio and low point cost.
SSR for the walking path to DS, the stunning grounds and low point cost of standard view. And low MF :)
AKV for the theming, animals, dining and low point cost for a standard view.
Poly for trader sam, convenience to TTC and theming.
BWV for the superb location and the luna pool.
VGC for location, theme park view and really luxurious feel of the resort.
I'll stay at BCV and VGF this September, I'll probably add two new resorts to my favorites list.

Resorts I don't like: none.

CCV for the cabins, we are selling our BRV contract to make room for our CCV contract.

:earsboy: Bill
We have had 2 Cascade Cabin stays, each booked in non home resort priority time. If it comes to having to own there, we may do that too. Those cabins are amazing.

BWV, I love getting a room with BW view, looking at Space Ship Earth from my room is a million $ view and can't be beat! Love the boat transportation to two different parks, great choices for dining and the Bell View Lounge is a fun place for a glass of wine and a quick game of checkers with my hubby. I also love the lobby and porch looking out to the lake. Great resort!

BWV for the location, watching the fireworks from my bed. Also own at BCV and will have my first stay there later this year. I'll be interested to see if the shorter hallways and proximity to Epcot change my mind.

It really depends on our plans and what type of vacation we want to have (relaxed or action-packed). We bought at BWV after staying there once. It's our favorite resort for action-packed vacations. For quiet, relaxed vacations, we want a secluded resort so we stay at AKV or AKL. We just stayed at VWL last Fall and that may have taken the lead as our new favorite for a more relaxed vacation.

BWV close to 2 parks. Imagine when Stars wars opens and along with toy story how hard it will be to get a bus to your resort at closing if not staying at an Epcot resort.

We love Bay Lake and the Polynesian, but SSR has been best as of late with a large family, we always will need a 2BR villa. Of course, my wife and I are Open to suggestions for a family of 6! :)

Aulani, BLT, AKV and CCV all the resorts we own. Aulani is the best resort DVC has ever built, atmosphere, theming, great sized rooms with nice theming, fabulous CMs, a variety of food and nearby restaurants and love those pools and the lazy river. However, BLT is where our hearts will always be. Love the resort and the location. AKV we always wonder why we don't stay there more often during a stay there. Sanaa is a favorite. And love spending time on the balcony watching the animals. But CCV is our new love, great theming, just a boat ride to a monorail resort, Ft. Wilderness or MK. And really like Geyser Point and the new chef at Artist Point. Also enjoy a light meal of mushroom soup and the bread service at Territory Lounge as it comes straight from the kitchen of Artist Point with a bottle of wine that we can take back to the room afterwards.

VGF is the one resort we wish we had purchased, it is a lovely resort. I thought it was the best DVC resort until I stayed at Aulani.

So hard for me to choose! We really like everywhere we have stayed for different reasons.

Aulani definitely wins my “not at WDW” vote and possibly the overall vote. Our grand villa was stunning.

VGF is my winner for at WDW. Light and bright. Location is great for us in this phase of life (with toddlers we spend a ton of time at MK.)

Poly bungalow was awesome. But it is a little dark and it is small for the number of points. Happy we did it but probably would not do it again.

We have enjoyed everywhere else we have stayed (SSR, Grand Californian, BLT, AKV-Kidani, Vero Beach). My issues with Kidani and Grand Californian are that our villas there were so dark. I really like light and bright in the morning!

We loved everything about Kidani except that it was dark. Loved going out on our balcony in the a.m. to watch the animals. But it was so dark I hesitate to stay there again.

Our favorite is OKW. The place is so pretty. The villas are so light and airy. Love the big rooms. Never seems crowded. Love the steel drum and Jimmy Buffet music you hear upon arriving. But best of all is being right at disney and feeling like you are somewhere else. A great place to decompose after a busy day at the parks. My favorite way to describe it is and Oasis in the middle of the Chaos.
