Was wondering what your favorite resort Table Service restaurant is.. not including the deluxes. It seems that not much is said about the other resort restaurants??

I guess I am looking for some info on the following:
Shutters, Maya Grill, Olivia's Cafe, Boatwrights, Turf CLub Bar and Grill... as I do not see much mentioned about them

I'm not sure what your question really is because there's only 2 other TS restaurants outside of the parks that are not in Deluxe resorts - Boatwrights at POR and Maya Grill at CSR. There is Trails End over at the WL campground but I'm counting the whole of WL deluxe so I'm not including it. I haven't eaten at Maya Grill but the reviews have been that although the food is fine it's way overpriced for what you get. I haven't enjoyed Boatwrights on the two occassions I ate there so I'm not a fan.

Now if you wanted to know favorite park TS I would say AK, none because it only has Rainforest and we have one near home so I don't bother eating there while at Disney; MK, LTT; MGM, Sci-Fi (the atmosphere trumps the food but its so cool); Epcot, don't have a fav.

Do you mean favorite table service meal at a resort that is not a signature meal? Or that's not located at a deluxe hotel?

My fave non-signature TS meal at a resort is Kona Cafe.

I have not eaten at the TS restaurants at the moderate hotels.

At the mods we only eat at the food court, we like the food at POR and CBR....the values have good food courts too

There's also Shutters at CBR.

I've had breakfast at Boatwright's, and it's nice enough. I haven't eaten at the other two, though.

Thanks Laura, my subconscious was saying there was something else but I just couldn't remember.

We enjoyed Shutters very much. Due to a little mini crisis, we ended up cancelling our ADR for Coral Reef last December. We had one ts credit left and since it was so last minute my choices were the Plaza in MK or Shutters (there may have been more but those were the two places I knew would work for us). I am so glad we did Shutters. We had a wonderful meal, excellent service and it was a very nice way to end our trip. We were staying at CBR so that made it very convenient too. In a way however, I love that resort so much and enjoyed our meal so much I might go back again someday even if I wasn't staying there. It would be nice to eat dinner there and then take a nice walk around the lake. And you have a very good view of Illuminations from CBR so that could be timed easily.

We also loved our meal at Maya Grill. Really nice evening and great food and service. Again, we were staying there but I might return because we enjoyed it so much. And like CBR, CSR has a beautiful lake to walk around and enjoy following your meal.

POR , a carriage ride and a walk along the river would also make a nice touch after a dinner at Boatrights. I haven't eaten at that one, we didn't eat there when we stayed at POR a few years ago. Wish we had, maybe we'll just have to do that sometime!

I agree you don't hear much about the non deluxe eateries but from my experiences I can say we enjoyed our two meals very much. And the moderate resorts are lovely to walk around after your meal. It isn't just the deluxes that offer something in the way of theming and enjoyment to explore and experience whether you are staying there or not.
