You MUST try Kona Cafe over at the Polynesian Resort. We had an early dinner there one day and it was DELICIOUS. Our waitress was kind of slow, but other than that I thought it was wonderful. I had the Teriyaki Steak and for desert I got the Kona Cone. It was outrageous. Here's what it looked like:
The food was just so good. The Polynesian Resort also has a really nice feel to it. It is very open, so the fountains right outside the restaurant can be heard and lots of guests walk by, so if you're looking for an intimate feel, I wouldn't recommend it, but other than that it is awesome! I'd go back if given the chance and I definitely recommend it to others.
Another Ohana fan here, but I think my favorite restaraunt on property is the Flying Fish at the Boardwalk. Its fancy without being at all pretentious or stuffy.
We have 2 Daughters (11 & 12) who are non-adventurous; would live on chicken tenders if we let them.
Here are our resort choices:
Whispering canyon Cafe - love this place! Great food and great fun atmosphere. Kids can eat here. One gets the skillet (they are disney adults!) and one gets the pot roast. Yum. Not to mention the great milkshakes that are covered by the dining plan!
Cape May Cafe - We all like this place. The husband made me make 2 ADRs for Feb. The kids enjoy the mac n cheese and the oreo bon bons. And they like to draw on the table cloth! lol.
