Hi all! I may be taking a little trip in December. My 4 year old daughter who is a huge Ariel fan will be with us (her 1st big girl trip). Can anyone recommend which Princess Dining experience I should try to make it to? This is my 1st girl after 3 boys.. so it's all new to me:love:

Which do you feel you really got your money's worth with?
Is there any I should avoid? I've always been a Chef Mickey fan myself.
And due to time constraints, I certainly do not have 180 days to book in advance.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! Kathy

Kathy - since you asked, my fav was the CRT. What is better than eating in the Castle?! :) Maybe you could try as sometimes cancellations happen. ;)
The only other fav i had was the GF 1900 Park Fare, although that is only Cindy.. And PC and the FGM, no other princesses though- but again, it's the GF.. which is just so "royal" like.
The norway breakfast was ok, but i don't think i would do it again.
I don't remember Ariel being at any of those though..

If your daughter is an Ariel fan, I think you'll have a better chance of seeing her at Norway's Princess breakfast. I've definitely seen her there before. Have not eaten at CRT in two years, but I don't think Ariel has ever been there. Food wise - both places are ok. We had lunch and breakfast at CRT - preferred lunch. Breakfast at Norway was better than CRT. Hope this helps.

My DD was 5 last year when we went for her birthday. We took her to CRT dinner on her actual birthday & then on another did the lunch at Norway with the Princesses. If your daughter is an Ariel fan then do the Norway lunch as that is when she is there. Ariel greets in a beautiful ballgown and then you get a photo with her. She enjoyed that~

This was Ariel at Akershus for dinner, we really enjoyed the dinner, and we are not very adventurous eaters.

We love PSB over CRT for the best princess experience and Ariel is usually there for lunch and dinner! :thumbsup2

CRT has the atmosphere going for it but not quite as many princesses.

Hi TinkerKat!

In order to get more responses to this question, I'm transfering it over to the Restaurants board. Please check there for further replies.

Happy planning!

If you want a good chance at Ariel then book the Akershus lunch or dinner. The food gets decent reviews. We are going to the lunch for the first time next month and really looking forward to it.

If you don't mind Ariel then we really enjoyed 1900 Park Fare dinner. The buffet there has had the best buffet food. The atmosphere is a little nutty but the characters have always been great.

We loved CRT. It was magical. We did breakfast there and we thought the food was very good. The princesses were great too and the atmosphere can't be beat. We saw Cinderella of course we got the most beautiful picture of her and my little one, Fairy Godmother, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins (who was great really in character) and Bell in her blue dress (she was also great).

We also did Dinner at Norway. We did not like the food at all. They also tried to take our plates before we were done. But the princess interaction was great and we did get to see Ariel with legs! Cinderella was also there with Sleeping Beauty and Show White with Belle in the lobby for pictures.

All the princesses at both places were great with the exception of Snow White she was at Norway and she was a real sour puss! Never saw that with a princess before. My older daughter noticed it immediately and said to me Snow White was not very nice. In the picture we have of her with the girls you can see it too.

Did you get a photo package included with the Breakfast? The photo in lobby with Cindy? We did the dinner last year and got the photo package. Just making sure they do same for breakfast.

Yes we did get the photo package at breakfast we took a picture of the whole family with Cinderella. But the picture that we love the most was one my dh caught! Here it is he took it just as my little one ran up to her and Cinderella was great she got right down and gave her a big hug. As you can see my daughter was ready to jump out of her skin with excitement.

Oh I just love it! What a precious picture. You always have to have your camera ready because I think that the unposed shots are definitely the best ones! Look at that smile on your dd's face! I love it!

Thanks!! I know that is a treasured photo! Do you believe that 2 weeks before we went that she scalped her bangs off! I mean they were down to her brows.:sad2: However we overlook that now and just see the SMILE!:goodvibes

My choice is Akershus in Norway.....

IMO definately the best princess meal...
Beautiful surroundings....quieter than a lot of character meals...

Also the only place where I have seen ARIEL....
Happy planning
