Does anyone have a favorite crockpot recipe they'd like to share?

Coworker is being thrown a baby shower potluck at work next Monday and I'd like to bring something in a crockpot.

No mac and cheese as someone else always brings it. No dips either as a lot of people bring dips and veggies but hardly anything that is a warm main dish.

Well, I make meatballs, and either pour sweet & sour sauce, bbq sauce, or even a gravy (Swedish meatball-type) over them. Also, cocktail weenies with BBQ sauce. You can even do a pulled chicken. Or pork.

Meatballs, lil smokies with BBQ sauce, pulled pork - just some ideas. :)

Buffalo chicken (for sandwiches)

4-ish boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 bottle wing sauce
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch mix

Put all in crockpot, cook on low 6 or so hours, shred chicken, mix well. I usually make it the night before and just warm it up when it gets where it is going. Serve on buns.

Put in all kinds of roasts, pot roast. You can put in pork chops.
Whole chicken with lemon inside with rosemary.
Soups
Chili

Baked beans...I make mine with hamburg and bacon and cook it in the crockpot instead of oven for family gatherings. Many of them eat it by the bowl fulls, saying that it is a meal all by itself.

Hawaiian meatballs or the grape jelly ones are always good and super easy to fix. Especially if you get frozen meatballs.

2 pkgs cocktail weenies, 1 pkg hot dogs, 1 bag small meatballs. 1 bottle chili sauce, 1 tab dry mustard, 1 small jar grape jelly. 1 can pineapple chunks. Mix all together in crockpot. This is our go to recipe for potlucks and never come home with leftovers!

I second (or third or forth???) the pulled pork option. This is the recipe that I use, however for a potluck where there will be lots of other options, I would almost lean towards providing slider-sized buns (like the small buns that Costco sells in a large bag) instead of full-sized hamburger buns. I have done that in the past, as it will allow more people to sample it along with all of the other dishes without hopefully getting too full on everything and wasting half-finished sandwiches.

1-4 lb. pork tenderloin or 2-2 lb. pork tenderloins
1-12 oz. can of root beer
Good quality bottle barbecue sauce (or make your own)
1 dozen hamburger buns

Spray crockpot with cooking spray. Place tenderloin into the crockpot, cutting it into pieces to fit as necessary. Pour a can of root beer over top, cover, and cook on low for 6 hours. Remove meat from the crockpot to cool slightly. Reserve cooking liquid in a measuring cup. When meat is cool enough to handle, shred meat with a fork and return to the now empty crockpot. Pour barbecue sauce over meat and stir to coat, adding some of the cooking liquid back for moisture and to loosen the sauce. Continue to cook on low for about half an hour, until heated through. Serve piled on hamburger buns.

Try either a couple chicken breasts, pkg of taco seasoning and a jar of salsa - bring tortillas, lettuce, tomatoe and sour cream to go with.
or
couple chicken breasts, block of cream cheese, 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1 pkg of italian salad dressing (good seasons) - you can bring biscuts or whatever you want - when I make it at home I serve it with mashed potatoes - yummy (it's rich though).

Both are great!

Curious why both the weenies and the hot dogs.

I don't know. It's my husbands recipe, and he always makes me make it that way, lol--sometimes he has me add kielbasa or smoked sausage sliced up also. Guess he thinks it adds more flavor

A bag of frozen meatballs and two jars of spaghetti sauce. I get fresh rolls from a local bakery.
