I will be staying at POP for the 1st time and have no clue which is the location to look for?? I have 3 small kids so I don't want to be far from the food court, pool or buses ( I know, I know I want it all ;) ) Where is your favorite place to stay & why???

I have stayed at POP about 7 times. My favorite by far is 60's Jungle Book facing the pool. I have stayed at nearly all of the decades, but the 60's has a different feel. I can't explain why, but I feel more "Disney Magic." In fact, I can tell such a differance, that if I can't get a preferred room there, I will stay at a differant resort. JMO

Can you tell me alittle more about that area?? Is it closer than say 50's to food court and bus? What is the pool like? Do you prefer a certain floor? Thanks I appreciate a veteran's opinion.

The 60's area is the closest to the food court. It is a "preferred" room. Usually runs about $10 more a night, but you are right there at the pool and main lobby area. I like the 4th floor, but that is just my preferance, it probably wouldn't matter which floor you stay on. It's great at night, when the sun is going down and you over look the pool. This is when Pop Century is at it's best.
Hope this helps.

I voted for the 80's walkman. When we stay here this is where I always request. I like ground level with a pool view. It is not the closest to the food court and busses but there are short cuts that you can take. To get to the busses you can walk through the parking lot and avoid dealing with a lot of crowds. I also like the computer pool better. To me it seems that it is blocked from the wind better than the Hippy Dippy Pool and a lot less crowded.

I stayed three times (each for 10 days) and I have always stayed at the 60s facing the Hippie Dippie Pool. It is where all the magic seems to be. I walk around the reosrt and although it is very nice, it is not as magical as that section. I have always stayed on the Jungle Book side.

To me it is worth the preferred rate.
