We will arrive the day before we can go into the parks. Is there any where other than Din Tai Fung that you could recommend for dinner??? I have a car so we can drive anywhere. Thanks so much :flower3:

Can you give us more information? Who is "we"? Adults? Kids? If the latter, ages? What cuisines do the people in your group like best? Are you looking for "fast casual" or something a little nicer?

I like Ballast Point, Trader Sam's/Tangaroa Terrace, Craftsman Grill. Black Tap has good burgers etc. There are several newer restaurants I haven't tried in DTD and I don't generally venture outside of the Disney property so I can't recommend off site restaurants.

I highly recommend In-N-Out, Habit Burger, Farmer Boys and California Fish Grill — all locally based chains with excellent pricing (for 2025 anyway) and way above average food. Each has a location within a couple miles of DLR.

You can find whatever your taste desires nearby… tasty Mexican, Asian, Indiana, etc.

We like Cheesecake Factory and McCormicks and Schmicks at the Anaheim garden walk.

At DTD we really like Splittsville lately. And of course, In n Out is always a hit. ☺️

Check the menus for Craftsman Grille and the PalmBreeze Bar. They are both very good and I prefer them to offsite restaurants.

I agree with @irlandaise how many people? Ages? Price range? Fast food vs sit down? What is it about Din Tai Fung that made you say that you didn't want to go there specifically?

Last year you asked for off site restaurant recommendations. Were there any that you tried that you liked or didn't like?

The only reason to eat at any of the DLR hotels is if you’re captive (e.g. no car) and/ or want a DLR-only experience. The DLR hotels sell the same food you get at the theme parks, but usually at a higher price point. For example, Dole Whip at DLH was a few coins higher than at DL, and was served at the bar where they expected to be tipped.

Disney’s food is good, but you can get a higher quality hamburger, fish-n-chips or salad for 1/2 the price literally just a few minutes away from property.
