We just got back from the World on Friday and I am already thinking about next year. The list below is of some of the places we have dined over the years.

Some have become staples and others were good for a single visit. Some of the single visit restaurants were well worth it for the experience too, but I would not worry if I never had a chance to return. For example, the Sci-Fi Dine-In was fun, but too cold inside and the food was slow coming. Once was enough for me, but I am glad to have done it. Le Cellier was great and I will be returning. We have done Chef Mickey and Crystal Palace ever year and next year we plan on doing them again. (So far)

Cinderella's Royal Table (MK)
Akershus Banquet Hall (Norway)
Chef Mickey's (Cont)
Cape May Cafe (BC)
Crystal Palace (MK)
'Ohana (Poly)
Donald's Breakfastasarous (gone)
Roaring Forks (WL)
1900 Park Place (GF)
Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe (MK)
Sommerfest (Germany)
Tangierine Cafe (Morocco)
Le Cellier (Canada)
ABC Commissary (Hollywood Studios)
Toy Story Pizza Planet (Hollywood Studios)
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre (Hollywood Studios)

What are your favs?

Beaches & Cream at BC is becoming a tradition. The burgers are SO GOOD that
we just have to have one at least once every trip. :goodvibes

We are going for our 3rd time and definately are going back to.

Favorites :jumping2:
Chef Mickey's
Ohana
Prime Time (the best fried chicken)

I am hoping to try in September

1900
T-Rex (if it is open)

We almost always go to Crystal Palace for lunch and Chef Mickey's for dinner. These have been regulars for the past six years and are always wonderful!
Other favorites:
Boma (AKL)
Le Cellier (EPCOT)
Mama Melrose (HWS/MGM)
Brown Derby (HWS/MGM)
50's Prime Time (HWS/MGM)
Casey's Corner (MK)
Starlight Cafe (MK)
The Plaza (MK)
Cinderella's Castle for lunch (MK)

Cape May Cafe for dinner (BCV)
Turf Club (really good steaks) (SSR)
1900 Park Fare for dinner (GFR)
Whispering Canyon Cafe (WL)
Raglan Road (DTD)
Wolfgang Puck Exress (DTD)

I think most of the character breakfasts serve the same foods, so that would just be a matter of preference for characters. We've done almost all of these and liked them.

If you have young kids (2-4ish) then Liberty Tree character dinner is very nice. The food is served family style, so you don't have to keep up with the wee ones at a buffet. I believe the foods are good for young ones that are just getting the hang of eating regular foods as well: ham, turkey, mash potatoes, macaroni-n-cheese, green beans...good stuff for the little ones! And of course the character line up is a good mix!

Anyone have an opinion on Chef de France? We are eating there for the first time in April. Since our DD is mostly over the "fluffy" characters we are getting to branch out with our dining plans! (she has come to the realization that the characters are just people in costumes. Thankfully she still thinks the princesses are real though. Although she did make a comment about the Mulan's being different from one day to the next. It's sad when they start growing up!)

Thank you for this, good to know! We are staying a the BCV in June. I had planned Beaches & Cream into our dining schedule. :thumbsup2

I would say the Plaza restaurant because it's reasonably priced for a TS meal, the portions are big, and it's way better than all the other park food in MK.

Citricos (GF)
Concourse Steakhouse (CR)
Kona Cafe (Poly)
Jiko (AKL)
California Grill (CR)
Boatwright's (POR)
Earl of Sandwich (DTD)
Wolfgang Puck's (Westside)

Oh this is making me hungry!

we just got back on the 19th Here are our must return to places

Blue Zoo-First time this trip best meal yet-strawberry tart my way is very yummy.
Hollywood Brown and Derby-Up there with Blue zoo the Grapfruit cake is fantastic. Crab cakes were fantastic, hardly any filler.
Ohanas
Jiko
we do like nine dragons for lunch
tangerine cafe

Coral Reef has been a must on every trip however, after this last trip I think we will be skipping it next year.

Our favorites:

LeCellier -- Steak, cream cheese mashed potatos, cheddar cheese soup and chocolate chocolate whiskey cake (ssshhhh....don't tell my doctor!)
Plaza Restaurant -- Club sandwich, chocolate shake and hot fudge sundae
Crystal Palace -- puffed french toast and Tigger and Eeyore
Mama Melrose -- 4 cheese flatbread pizza

Our favorite place keeps changing for different reasons, but we have several "go to" places that we must schedule on our trip to WDW.
California Grill( I love the fresh sashimi and the red snapper is excellent, DH always orders the Beef filet. Plus the views and the atmosphere makes it a great "date dinner".)
Wolfgang Pucks Cafe, despite Kevin's review on the podcast, has some outstanding selections and the atmosphere is lively and casual. (I LOVE the california roll and pumpkin ravioli, they are a MUST for me!:cloud9: DH gets either a gourmet pizza or the pork chop.)
Flying Fish Cafe is a Boardwalk staple for us. They treat the kid's great and the love the idea of painting their dessert. It's DH favorite - he raves about the NY strip, I love the scallops, but the sides - especially the risotto - are fabulous! The creme brulee is just plain yummy.
We also go to the Crystal Palace for dinner, while 1900 Park Fare is really good, the hand carved wood fired beef and the dessert selection is what puts CP over the top.:woohoo:

Raglan Road, I had the Shepards Pie. It was so unbelievably delicious.

And you can't beat the decore and furniture. It's gorgeous.

Thanks for the info. While reading I could not believe some of the places I forgot to add to my list. We did Jiko for a dinner sampling after the Sunset Safari last year and it was the best meal I had ever! We have also dined at Boma and Mara. We have been to Boma 3 or more times as a matter of fact. We did Beaches and Cream twice. Our first year it was the first place we ate. I had one of those huge burgers, fries, onion rings, and a Fudge Mud Slide (back in the days of the vouchers where appetizers were included along with dessert). I ate like I was going to die the next day during the first year. Learned to eat in moderation for all the trips after that. We have also dined at Pepper Market in Coronodo Springs and we also got food to go from either a place in POR or CR. (I forget which)

Flying Fish Cafe, Raglan Road, and Blue Zoo are next on my research radar. Thanks again.

We also LOVE Chef Mickey's and especially LeCellier. O'hana is a favorite of ours, as is Liberty Tree Tavern. I agree that there are some restaurants that are good once but not to return again.

our favorite places to eat are Crystal Palace for Breakfast (We both love the breakfast lasagna and I love the puffed french toast) and Raglan Road for dinner (We both love the It's Not Bleedin' Chowder and I really really love the Bread and Butter Pudding) :)

Our two fav's are Boma and Raglan Road. I could eat at just those 2 restaurants the whole week we are there! I love all the flavors and variety of the Boma buffet and their pot of African coffee and African beers are very good. Raglan Road has the best bread pudding, fish & chips, scallop forest appetizer and my dh LOVES that it's not bleedin chowder too. It has a beautiful bar too.

My favorite place to dine is Victoria & Albert's. It's not just the best restaurant on Disney Property, it's the best meal that I have ever had.

The atmosphere is incredible, the service is impeccable and the food is outstanding.

I'll have to check that out. Any place that gets a review of "best meal" deserves a looky loo.
Thanks:thumbsup2

The best meal and best service we have ever had at WDW were at Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. :thumbsup2 Fillet and scallops were incredible. White chocolate puzzle for the kids was perfect. LeCellier was as good as everyone said it would be. 1900 Park Fare, Cinderella Feast was very good and fresh. Grandaughter even danced with Prince Charming! Wolfgang Puck Express was great for fast food. The only meal that was not good at all was Mama Melrose. The blue cheese steak was very good but everything else ordered was aweful! :crazy2: Flat bread peperoni, and chicken parm were especially bad.

Artist Pointe (WL)
LeCellier (Epcot)
1900 Park Fare (GF)
Chef Mickey's (Contemporary)

Those are the best!:goodvibes
