ALERT: Spoilers ahead! I maybe wrong but I havent seen a thread on this yet. Thought it would be cool if those people who have experianced FJ could tell us their favorite part of the ride/favorite scene and why. Thanks!

I think it is the Whomping Willow part. The ride action as well as the animatronics is very cool.

This will be a SPOILER filled thread..

But the Dementors scene was terrifying.. and seeing my face in the mist! :scared1:

Oh hell I didn't even pay attention to the mist and I rode it 3 times :) When we go back in February I will make sure to look for that now.

I loved the Whomping Willow and the Dementors it is very neat!

Great idea for a thread! You beat me right to it. :thumbsup2

I would suggest you put spoilers in the title just in case for those who don't want to know. :goodvibes

sorry I will make sure I do that in the future... I'm new to these boards so bear with me:thumbsup2

I loved the dragon claw marks on the roof and the actual dragon!!

I love the entire dragon chase scenes. The ride went down while we were right in front of the dragon's head. We were only down for about 5 minutes, but it was awesome staring at that dragon the entire time. He kept releasing steam, though it wasn't coming at us. I noticed details I hadn't seen before (and I already had ridden it 13 times). The entire top half of the dragon is there and his claws are hanging onto the bridge supports. His wings are also there behind him.

I also liked the whomping willow, but was a bit disappointed with Aragog. The other spiders are cool, but I was expecting Aragog to move. He's doing the Yeti imitation from Expedition Everest instead.

I thought the dementors were good, especially that first one. However, I also found them a bit strange because they were so huge. They reminded me of that painting "The Scream"

Nothing to be sorry about, like i said, it's a great idea for a thread. :thumbsup2

Oh, and by the way.............:welcome:

LOL, if someone opens a thread called "Favorite Part of FJ", what would they expect to see other than people talking about parts of the ride?:lmao:

Can someone please tell me exactly where the spiders are and how long you see them. I'm seriously arachnophobic and will be closing my eyes. :scared1:

right after the dragon blows steam in your face. keep them closed until you hear Harry say "where have you been" You will miss the whomping willow however.

actually the spiders are very fake looking and except for the water spray, not very scary.

Yeah, the spiders were a lot like the ones in Its a Bugs Life in Animal Kingdom, big fake spiders.

Lol. Let's just say there are many types of trees in the forest. :)

After the dragon blows you into the forbidden forest, and until the whomping willow whomps you into the Quidditch Pitch. It's less than a minute, but there are lots of spiders, and yes they do look fake. The black widows in "It's Tough to be a Bug" are scarier. Aragog is pretty big, but the others are about the size of a large turkey and they spit a lot of water at you.
