Favorite Park for last night

For some strange reason I keep thinking that I need to end my trip at Magic Kingdom...I don't know why, it just feels right. What is your favorite park for your last day..and why????

We ALWAYS begin and end trips at MK. We are all MK nuts, and nothing beats Wishes as a topper for a fine WDW vacation for our family. I get such a bittersweet feeling on that last walk up Main Street on that last night.

I love ending our trip at MK while watching Wishes. It's the perfect ending to the perfect vacation. The last night is always bittersweet but there is no place I'd rather be than watching Wishes!!!

To avoid the big lines I always try to visit the parks on their least busy day rather than using my own personal preference.

We usually start with MK, but end our trip in Epcot and Illuminations. Last(and this) year, we will end our trip in MK with the MNSSHP fireworks

Another vote for Magic Kingdom...we have to start and end our trips there! I feel like that is the heart of Disney and the trip doesn't start till we see the castle and it's the last image I want in my mind before we leave (sadly). Can't wait to see it again!!! But unfortunately due to some financial issues will probably be 2 years from now.

We always end with MK and I always end up bawling when I see Mickey out waving goodbye and saying "see ya real soon"....

We always begin and end at MK... watching Wishes to end a vacation is my idea of heaven. I love dawdling on my way out so that Main Street is pretty empty, then turning to get one last look of the Castle *sigh* now I'm all wistful.....and SOOOOO ready to get to WDW!!!!!!

We always end with Epcot. Just because we go in the off season and MK clolses earlier. If we are at MK we go to Epcot when MK closes and finish with Illuminations.

Kimba, we completely agree. The MK is THE place to be on the last night. It's the best way to "say goodbye" to a wonderfully magical vacation!

We too always begin and end with MK. The first day we start the morning at MK and end with MGM, teenagers crazy for ToT. Last day we start at MGM do the whole park, then ToT about 100 times then end with MK. Doing wishes then seating for a while, get a snack or just people watch, then when the crowds thin we walk out sad, shoulders slumped over, talking about what we will do different the next year.

On the last day don't you hate when you hear people talking about its their first day. I'm always like ' i want it to be my first day again'.

That's also what we do! However, if we had our choice, we'd do MK first!

I start at the MK and I end at the MK. For me it's the fairy tale ending. I love the other parks, but when I go to MK I feel like I'm 10 years old again. And in my life and I don't feel that way to often.

I hear you all!! We so want to end at MK but I believe it's going to be an EMH night (A Sunday night). We wouldn't stay for EMH. So do I really want to fight the crowds and possibly be irritated on my last night? It's also the start of POP/Warner week...so it will be pretty jammed. I was really hoping they would keep the same MVMCP schedule as last year, that way we could attend the party on Sun night. But noooo...Disney "accidentally forgot" to check with me this year as to what I want.

So as much as I would love to end at MK I'm thinking it might have to be EPCOT. I'm just pretty bummed about it......

I was just trying to plan this out for our trip and I thought I was going to end it at EPCOT but after reading all the replys about MK, i started to get emotional thinking about it, so I guess we are going to end it there as well!
I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!
