Favorite or First Souvenir that you've bought at WDW?

The monorail model. That was so much fun.....too bad my boys outgrew it. :(

Kitty, does that monorail come with a Spaceship Earth?

If I could find a replica of Spaceship Earth similar to the castle, I'd get that too!

Love my watch but I think my fav is the 14kt gold outline of Mickey's head that DH and DD just bought me for my birthday. It is one of those 'signature' pieces for me and I doubt I take off too often. :)

I was in the perfume store of VS the other day and the salesgirl was giving me a hard sell for their cologne (so in love-- which I loved!) and she finally stopped talking and said, "I'm having a hard time focusing on what I am saying because I see your MM necklace and I have an obsession with the Mouse." LOL

Blondie, I love that Castle. It is absolutely beautiful and perfect. Looking at the Castle while I'm at WDW is one of my most fav things. I know you'll enjoy it for years to come!!

Buck, I want to see your necklace!

Wow I just saw that Castle on e-bay I was going to buy it for DD train garden .It sets in a main street display goes with my little N_GUAGE DL train and will have Spectro running at the end when all is done.

I did get a real nice Castle snowglobe coming to help complete this .
Oh and these are my and DD's Favs.

My first Disney souvenir was a tinkerbell necklace - it's a pretty standard silver one, I think they still sell it!

My favorite souvenir would probably be a custom embroidered hand towel with our wedding date and Mickey and Minnie in wedding attire! :cloud9:

Inspired by the where to buy a watch thread, what's your favorite souvenir/item that you've purchased at Disney World?

During our trip two weeks ago I was looking for a Cinderella Castle replica, something half decent and of a good size that I could display in a curio.

Well, I found it inside "Uptown Jewelers" on Main Street. Buying this was like buying the real thing in a scaled down version! It changes colors just like the real thing. It is so beautiful! It runs on 4 AA batteries, or it can be plugged in. It's described as:

This open edition, Z-scale replica of Cinderella's Castle, is the first in a series that will depict the charming buildings of Main Street, USA. Robert Olszewski’s Castle captures every detail, right down to working lights that illuminate in a variety of colors.

Open Edition
Size: 12" H x 11.5" W (Approx.)

Here is what it looks like with the lights off in the living room:

So, what's your favorite souvenir/purchase?

That is absolutely beautiful!! I have to have it!!!! Do you mind me asking - how much was it?

LOVETHATMOUSE, check your PM's!

My tinkerbell jacket from this trip. I wear it all the time. It's the one with the word Tink across the front & pictures of tink on the back. Will see if I can find a pic.

I bought a Mickey watch on our '98 trip and I'm still wearing it. That's my fave.

We got both of them! We put them around the Xmas tree for a few years.... normal people make train platforms ... disney nuts like us have DISNEY MONORAIL platforms. :rotfl2:

DH also just found a souvenir from the 80's. It was a pennant from the Empress Lilly character breakfast signed by Mickey, Minnie, etc. Kinda neat...loved the Empress Lilly :)

Very neat, Blondie.

I have a double snow globe, with 31 of the characters. I like it.
