Favorite off WDW site resturants?

We liked Bahama Breeze too. Nice music & atmosphere.

OK, I'm convinced, I have to try it on my next visit in October, so where is Bahama Breeze ? I saw mention of LBV which is the area Disney Downtown/Village is in I believe ? Can someone tell me more precisely where the restaurant is ? Is there more than one ?

Steak and Shake sounds my kinda place too, so again, can someone tell me where it/they are ?

Sweet Tomatoes on Kirkman is great if you like buffets. About $5 for all you can eat lunch including soup, salad, pasta, desserts.

We love Fazoli's on 192 in front of Home Depot. Really cheap Italian food, and tastes great. We go there about once a week, and it's only $18 for the four of us.

There is a Steak and Shake in Lake Buena Vista up from the Crossroads, which is pretty good.

We like Sweet Tomatoes, its mainly a slad bar but they have a few hot things also. very well priced at around $9.00 a person. Its on the corner of International Drive & Kirkman road or Universal Blvd. (Cant rememeber but they are both in that area). Right near Universal.

I agree. Every major chain has multiple locations in the Orlando area. These threads really become what's your favorite chain restaurant.
Non-chain restaurants that seem to get good reviews include Pebbles, Jungle Jim's and Race Rock. The Olive Garden on I drive says they were the original restuarant that started the chain. The food there seems a little better than my local Olive Garden.

Gotta be the Orlando Ale House. It's located near Downtown Disney. Great food, better prices. We stopped one night for a snack while on our honeymoon. DH got half a pound of peel and eat shrimp for $6.00. I (the sweets lover in the family) got the hot fudge brownie sundae for $3.50. I think that I ate MAYBE a third of it, it was HUGE!!! Atmosphere is like Applebee's or Damon's (without all the sports). I would highly recommend it!

OK, so it's obviously not a secret - but we really love Pebbles! Amazing food at very reasonable prices. It was probably the best meal we had on our last trip. Great seafood dishes!

We also like Jungle Jim's for burgers, etc. I know it's sounds wierd, but their burger with peanutbutter on it is really great!

These are both also really close to WDW, so that makes them easy to get to.

Sweet Tomatoes is another of our favorites. We love the salad and soup bars. They have everything! That's usually where we stop after our day at Island of Adventure. Inexpensive, but really tasty and a nice change of pace.

We especially love KOBE. They have several Locations in the Disney Area (Palm Parkway, I-Drive). They're a japanese Steakhouse and you sit at an Teppanyaki Table where the food is made before your eyes. It is much the same as Benihana but not that expensive. Much food and real good quality. Especially enjoyable fpr us Europeans as this kind of Restaurant are really expensive here (I have to pay the double here iN germany for something like that).
They also have Coupons in the Discount Books, where you can save a little more. Last stay we visit theme 3 nights when staying 8 Nights in Orlando...

Ming Court on I-Drive is excellent,too. A little more expensive then the normal Chinese but much much better!
There Dim Sum at lunch is excellent,too (and a little less expensive then Dinner).

Damons at the Mercado serves a good Prime Rib and the wings are also great!
