I think we may be "over" disney dining.. Can I get a list of favorites off-site? I will be traveling with a 11 and 13 yr old boys.

we really enjoyed bb kings last week. I purchased a restaurant.com certificate worth 100 off for only $8. We needed to spend 200...our family (4 adults and 2 children) spent 269 with tip and only had to pay 169. That included a bottle of wine and 4 beers. We had enough food for the next nights dinner. The ribs were fantastic and the mac n cheese was homemade and yummy. We really didn't have high expectations, but were very pleasantly surprised.

They might enjoy Rainforest Cafe, which I don't believe is participating in DDP. The is just okay and a bit over-priced but the theming is pretty impressive.

We like Bahama Breeze on Vineland near the I-4 exit to Downtown Disney - just in the opposite direction. Food is quite good and the atmosphere is great.

The chains in the area are pretty predictable, which could be good as at least you'll know what to expect. Though service can vary from location to location even within the same chain.

Google Orlando Restaurants and you'll get a bunch of restaurant lists and reviews.

We love Kobe Japanese Steakhouse. We always go for dinner one night of our trip. The food is always excellent and the chefs are entertaining.

A couple of places I have not seen mentioned.

There's a Qdoba Mexican Grill in Lake Buena Vista. (IF you go at lunch during the week, it's you and LOTS of Disney suits LOL!)

There's a Johnny's Hideaway in Lake Buena Vista. Priced on the par with a Disney Resturant, but better then most. Maybe a bit much with the kids?

There are numerous chain resturants as others said. If you venture a little father away there at things like Seasons 52 which have great reputations.

Your kids are a little old, but the Joe's Crab Shack has a playground!

On my last trip I found the Whole Foods which is not that far from Disney and has great "prepared" foods that you can take back and "heat" up or even eat there.

I think that I ate at Bahama Breeze a few years ago when I was the the Caribe Royale for a conference...it's pretty close to there isn't it? If it's the same place, the fish I has was AWESOME and it was not very expensive!

Yes, that's right it's a couple of miles or so down SR 535 from Bahama Breeze to the Caribe Royale.

Our two favs so far are Flipper's Pizza and Chevy's Mexican. Flipper's has awesome brick oven pizza!

These are both located in Crossroads plaza in Lake Buena vista, not too far from DTD. :thumbsup2

Bahama Breeze is good.

There's also some great restaurants at Citywalk.

That's a great point.

There are several theme restaurants at the City Walk area in front of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
NASCAR
NBA
The Hard Rock Cafe
Margaritaville
Bob Marley's
and others

No theme park tickets needed but you'd have to pay the parking cost, $12 I think.

We like the Orlando Ale House. The food is good and the prices are good. Its not far from Downtown Disney . Its on 535 across from Palm Parkway.

Has anyone been to Jungle Jim's recently? I used to see it mentioned a lot but not so much lately.
