Favorite NON park TS meal.

I would hit Chef Mickey's. NOT because the food is "all that" but because you get to check off seeing Mickey and Pals on your first night. It's an awesome way for everyone to become immersed in the Disney Magic right away.

I was just going to say, Boatwrights. We ate there last trip when we were staying at POR, and we loved it.

I would also recommend Boatrights. We ate there 2 nights ago, I had the Louisianna Lugger and loved it. DH enjoyed his Crawfish Étouffée. He was disappointed that they didn't have the dessert advertised on the Disney website, some Banana thing.

We loved Boatwrights as well, it was 2015 when we ate there with inlaws... I had Boatwrights Jambalaya and the Bananas Foster...looks like they don't have it anymore...shame, it was soooo good YUM!!!

Another vote for Sanaa and Boma - these are two of our favorite restaurants. We also love that you can go see the animals before or after the meal.

The wife asked what’s another good choice not in a park. (Arrival day) (besides ohana as I’m struggling to get one there)

Wife and I (34), 5yr old boy, 1yr old girl , in laws 62.

Where are you staying and what are your arrival day plans? I usually don't believe in traveling too far out of the way unless you have a car (and maybe not even then). Do you have character meals booked later in the trip? Are you looking to getting off to a relaxing start with time at the resort and pool? With young children and in-laws, depending on how long you have been traveling, you may want to relax close by or stroll around Disney Springs.

For an arrival day? Depending on where you are and where you'd like to be. Top recommendation would be Disney Springs - you can hang out there and get a good welcome to Disney World. Homecoming is a great restaurant there. Also Raglan Road, Morimoto Asia, Frontera Cocina. If you're in the MK area, The Wave is a nice casual place for a good meal.

Like crab legs, clams, clam chowder?? We love Cape May Clambake buffet at the Beach Club. Has something for everyone - including non seafood eaters!!
