Here's one to really consider carefully! What is your favorite moment ever at Disney World? I know it must be tough to decide among tons of great times, but what was that one truly special moment that tops the list?
:donald:

Not counting people, I guess my favorite thing at Disney was turning the corner on to Main Street and looking up at the castle and seeing that it had been TP'd. Stitch did that the day his ride officially opened.

Total surprise and so funny. :)

For me, it would have to be the very first time I saw the castle for real, and that pales in comparison to seeing my DDs see it for the first time. It is very mesmerizing!

Mine is in 2003 we were eating breakfast at Akershus and there was some Japanese photographers that asked if they could take some pictures of my DD3 with the Snow White for their travel mag. They took several pictures and gave my DD a tigger pin. My DD felt so special she had a hugh smile the entire day. About 6 weeks later we received the mag. with a marker marking a beautiful picture of my daughter. We couldn't read the caption but thought it was a really neat thing to have. My DD now 8 loves to take it to Show-n- Tell and tell her friends about that day.

I have 2 Best Moments Ever, one with each of my children,
The first one is when my DD was 4 she was wearing a Snow White Costume and during the afternoon parade Snow White Kissed her hand. My DD held her hand up the rest of the day admiring it and showing it off to everyone. She would not put her hand down.
The 2nd one was with my son he was about 3 and we just walked out of "The Plaza" in MK and the afternoon parade was starting and he started screaming with joy that Disney World was starting.:rotfl:

Best moment...hmmmm
It had to have been when my friends and I went to Disney and we rented a boat at Old Key West, then we stopped off at DTD and bought pirate gear, and a flag. We then spent the next few hours sailing around the water ways singing an 'altered' version of A Pirate's Life for Me, and 'chasing' other boats. Good times!:goodvibes

It would definately have to be this past trip when we got to spend a few hours w/ a Dream Team member. DD thought she was the coolest kid in the park that day!

A close second would be right before DD turned 3 and we were waiting to see the princesses. Cinderella came out and took DD, carried her in and sat and talked with her for the longest time. DD was awestruck and proudly displayed the kiss Cinderella planted on her cheek for the rest of the day.

When we arrived in the MK in Dec 2005 for our first time ever and rounded the corner to see the Castle in all of its beauty.

A close second is the moment I realized that they upgraded us to the Magic kingdom view in the Hawaii building (club level) last December 2006, even though I only booked a Garden view room. :goodvibes

My favorite was my 4 year-old DS, after seeing the castle for the first time turning to me and saying, "Mommy, you are the best ever".

My funniest story is from the same trip. We were attending MNSSHP and were riding splash with my 4 children 15 (Cinderella), 12 (Jedi), 4 (Peter Pan), and just barely turned 3 (Cinderella). We had ridden once and were asked if we wanted another go. Just as we were climbing the hill by the water fall the ride stopped. We ended up stuck for a good 45 min:scared1: . At some point our four year old son, dressed as Peter Pan needed to go to the bathroom (could have been the sound of rushing water from the water fall).

Peter Pan would say, "mommy, I really need to go NOW" and my three year old would reply with, "someone needs to save the princess and her family, especially her Peter Pan":rotfl2:

Back and forth Mommy bathroom...save the princess and her family...Mommy bathroom...save the princess and her family.:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I was never so happy to see the end of the ride.

My favorite Memory is when df proposed to me last yr at cinderella's royal table and in the process made the lady behind us cry. I have never been so suprised in my life.

Definitely this past July...being able to hobnob with some fellow pirates around the POTC ride! pirate:

My family and I were going to watch Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial, but it was rained out, so we hopped on the POTC ride queue and Mack (the Capn's first mate in the show) was talking to my family and I...then when we went back to see the show at a later time, my lil sis (then 7, now 8) was picked to swordfight! Later on, Captain Jack himself picked me to join his crew as well!

Upon returning to the Magic Kingdom, my mom and I saw the show again, and Mack was talking with me and all, and even included a line about us in the show! :rotfl:

"No worries, Cap'n Jack will be out shortly! I have no illusions that you're out here to see me...except for those two right there! *my mom and I*"

haha...it was such an awesome experience! :goodvibes

September 1975. Our first trip. First ever "sight" of WDW was that first night with dinner at Papeete Bay. We were staying at a Ramada Inn and just seeing the Poly Resort, the Castle at night--been hooked ever since.

This year's trip (back in May), my mom and me's first EMH night at Epcot. It's our favorite park, and the weather and crowds were so pleasant, and staying there until midnight was amazing. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary, just another great night at Disney, but it was the best time I've ever had there. There was just something special about it.

My favorite fairly recent moment at WDW involved my son (then around 2 1/2) and Cinderella. We had taken him to the autograph tent just before the park was to close and he was the last person to see Cinderella. Cinderella then asked him to escort her to the ball, which was all the remaining characters and families in the Judges Tent. All the characters danced with the kids and had a few minutes of private time before the park closed, it was a very magical moment for all involved. That has been about 2 1/2 years ago and we continue to make memories at Disney several times a year.

it still gives me goose bumps.....seeing DD and DN waiting in line at MGM when a CM suddenly asks then where there parents are(DW and i both thought what was wrong):lmao: when the CM asked us if we would like to open the park we all loved it. the pictures we took and the photo we got for free was priceless. we always hope it happens at MK. it was the greatest time ever.

I think it's a tie between two. One time when my DW and I went out to Pleasure Island for the first time. We spent all night in the Adventurers Club. We had so much fun!

And then several years later with my DW and DD. The moment that we first walked into the caslte dinning room for the princess breakfast. WOW!

In 2005 we were at Epcot and noticed the Character Connection for the first time:confused3 When we entered there was NO-ONE in there except us! Mickey,Pluto, Chip & Dale & Donald were all ours!! Well our three oldest were really into pin trading and someone told our DD9 that managers had the best pins so she kept asking the CMs to see a manager:rotfl: The CMs asked her why she needed a manager??:lmao: When she told them they left to find her one, well we walked over to Chip& Dale for our DS1 and the other 3 (DD9,DD6,DS5) waited. When we turned to check on them they were all laying on there bellies in a circle,:cloud9: pin trading with the " manager" and MICKEY!! Pluto was running around behind them pulling them out of the circle by their feet. It was amazing!!!

Here's another engagement!
My favorite moment was getting engaged by the castle 11/7/2002!

Here is one of my most favorite moments. This is from March and was taken just after Wishes.

I have to go with 2.

I got engaged behind the castle during MVMCP in 2003, so it's pretty hard to top that. :)

The other was during a trip with my family during E-Ticket night (oh how I miss them!!! EMH is not the same). We were sitting at the tables in front of the plaza eating ice cream at 1 a.m. watching people go by on Main Street. It was so peaceful and perfect. It's actually hard to describe that moment, but it's our favorite.
