Favorite Moderate

Hey gang!

What's your favorite moderate resort? I am seriously considering a trip for Gay days and want to knwo which Mods you like and why. I've stayed at both CSR and CBR...and I liked both just fine. Do you think the rooms at POR need an update? Seems like both CSR and CBR were recently renovated....

Our favorite is CSR. We love to stay there and will be there this year for Gay Days.

WE love Riverside. As of now when we think WDW thats our place. Theres a cetain ambiance about the place we love. One of the few resorts out there that we forget were we are so to speak.

For those staying at Port Orleans: Riverside, Dont forget to go see yeeha Bob (Bob Jackson) at the main lobby lounge! Great time with him all the time! never disappoints

I vote for POFQ with POR a close second. I love the theming and atmosphere.

I'll second that! As a Vacation Club member, it's been awhile since I've paid cash for a hotel room. But when I do, my resort of choice is Port Orleans French Quarter. I just love walking the grounds and soaking up the ambiance. It's also smaller and more intimate.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad POR is getting so many accolades. It's the one Mod I haven't stayed at yet and now I won't be afraid to give it a try.

Hey Rosie,

I'm late but had to throw in my two cents for POFQ. Before we bought DVC we used to stay there a lot. As a matter of fact we booked the before and after days for our April trip there. I agree with the earlier poster who said the theming is great.....and it's also a short walk for tired feet to anywhere!
