What was your favorite mixed drink?? :drinking1 :tiptoe: :drinking1 :tiptoe::drinking1

I am looking forward to:

Parisian Cosmo Slushy
Frozen Rock Coconut Mojito

What about you???

Will be there Nov 4th .... I am sooo going to try the mojito:goodvibes

I would like to see a picture of that and the Burnt Cherry one in Puerto Rico.

We had some of the mixed drinks on 10/6/11.

China: Happy Lychee with Vodka, not bad, sweet drink

Poland: Belvedere Strawberry Balsalmic Chiller--DH liked it a lot...a half of one would have been enough for me. I found it interesting, but a little too 'savory' for my taste. It had the tang from the vinegar with the sweetness of the strawberry. It wasn't as frozen as I expected, more just a thick drink.

France: Parisian Cosmo Slush--we got 2, and yes it was GOOOOD! Great frozen drink for a hot day, and that bright red color is fantastic.

There's no Puerto Rico kiosk this year and no cherry colada. There is a Dragon Berry colada I think at the Caribbean kiosk.

I do like the Happy Lychee. It's very happy. The vodka is a floater. Use a straw if you don't want to be sipping straight vodka. And mix.

Here's a picture of the Cosmo Slush from last year!

I loved it and I'll definitely be having another this year.

I also liked the strawberry balsamic chiller from Poland and the sparkling pomegranate kir from France. This year I'm looking forward to the strawberry lime margarita in Mexico and the Xante from Iceland.

Looks awesome - I can't wait to drink that one!!!

Definetely stop by the Caribbean kiosk. I tried both frozen drinks and they were awesome! My favorites by far during this trip!

Mai Tai from the Hawaii Kiosk - also very good, but not frozen and kinda stong.

I also had an awesome Red Stag Frozen Lemonade from Fife and Drum available only while F&W. It was really good and boozy.

That would be my luck, I found out on our May 2011 trip that I missed that one in 2010 ( DH bought me the other frozen delight in PR and soup ) and was looking forward to the Burnt Cherry this year.

What is the Happy Lychee like... does it have that weird kinda of sweet but no flavor thing going on like the nut/fruit what ever it is ? The Dragon Berry looks good. Anything else new and looking good?

Great pics ! Did the Mojito taste like coconut?

Yes there was a distinct flavour of coconut and I was surprised at how much I liked the mint/coconut combo. Really refreshing and different.:)

I love the Belvedere Strawberry Balsalmic Chiller at the Poland booth. I typically don't like fruity frozen drinks but this thing was AWESOME! I will be having several of them next week, in fact!

Another question - They look so small!!! But the Cosmo slushy looks like it may be bigger... Anyone know about how big these are?

Not that I can handle that much to begin with.... LOL

I can't tell you in fluid ounces because those cocktail glasses can be deceiving, but the Cosmo Slush is roughly the same size as the slush drinks at the permanent France kiosk. The price is similar too.

It sounds like a strange mixture... I'm going to try it on the recomendatoins of this thread:goodvibes. Could you taste the Balsalmic in it ? last year we were chatted into trying the Aquavit ......:scared1: awful does not even begin to describe it. DH said the face I made reminded him of Lucy doing the Veta Vita Vegamin comercial:rotfl:

The drinks are smaller this year - I would say they are about a third to half the size of the drinks offered the past two years. The Dragonberry Colada that is offered at the Caribbean booth is the same as the Dragonberry Colada that was offered in the Puerto Rico booth two years ago - but much smaller. I think the Caribbean booth replaced and incorporated the Puerto Rico booth since both drinks offered there are made from Bacardi Rum (from Puerto Rico). The only drink that was about the same size as past years was the Parisian cosmo.

the parisian cosmo was the best value: it's the same glass as the grand marnier slushie but a little less expensive - in the 8 $ range, the grand marnier was in the 9 $ range.

The other drinks that I tried all came in the same cups, that seem smaller and they were in the 7$ range.
