I will be trying a couple of these restaurants for the 1st time in 12/07 so I am wondering what your favorite menu items at these restaurants are?
Thanks I appreciate any information you can give me.:)

Can't help with Wolfgang's, but at Citricos I like either the Oak fired Filet Sicilian, or their Signature veal Shank. Crab gateau as an appetizer.
At CG I'll order one of whatever flatbreads they happen to have that night (all are really good) and the Pork entree. At Jiko it's again one of their excellent flatbreads, and then the Lamb Shank. Haven't been to AP in awhile, but always got the Cedar Plank Salmon.

I've only eaten at California Grill out of your list, but I had the oak-fired filet of beef, which was fabulous. I ate there in 2001 but don't have a clue what I ordered then. Both experiences were great, though.

At AP, start with either the venison spring rolls or the smokey portbello soup - both if you share well. For the main course, everybody will rave about the salmon (I'm not big on salmon), but I love the beef tenderloin and the pork chop. For desert - coffee two ways.

Thanks for the great responses!!!I have been to CG , I had never ordered pork tenderloin at any other restaurant but this dish gets so many great reviews. I must say I really enjoyed it but I was also thinking about trying the filet at CG.Thanks for the recommendation I was planning on trying the oak fired sicillian tenderloin at Citricos.I also really enjoyed the flatbread at Jiko CG flatbreads. At AP I am probably leaning towards the beef tenderloin and will definetely get the smokey portabella soup and coffee 2 ways(I travel alone so I can't share:sad1: )I may just really be daring and order the salmon. I have never ordered salmon before does the cedar plank salmon have a special sauce or is it the way it is cooked that makes it special?:
Thanks again for the great responses!!!!:)

Great thread topic! It sounds like you have some wonderful meals planned for your trip. My and (DH's) favorite meal at Jiko:

App: Chicken Flatbread with coffee glaze
Entree: Oak Grilled Steak with mac and cheese and red wine reduction
Dessert: Pistacio creme brulee with a chocoate bottom.

Heaven!!!

We can't wait to go back and have it again in October.

At Citricos, the Shrimp and Feta appetizer is SPECTACULAR!!! Delicious. I could make a meal out of that in itself. They really should think about making an entree out of that and serving it over some pasta.

I had the salmon and Citricos and it was "fine"--nothing outstanding though, so I would probably go for something else here. My parents have gotten the Veal Shank two times and LOVE it. Not my thing. My DD got the pork chops and they were very good. The filet is good also.

For dessert, get either the Tropical Fruit Creme Brulee or the Chocolate Banana Tart. Both are very good.

At AP, the salmon is very good. I think one of the best dishes here is the scallops though. Excellent. Filet is good too, of course, but I'm always looking for a WOW factor. The Smoky Portabello Mushroom Soup is a MUST. I find the desserts at AP to be just okay.

Okay I think you must be reading my mind. I have to admit I am probably looking forward to the shrimp and feta appetizer more than any other food on my next trip. Thanks again, for all the great responses.!!!
:)

That shrimp and feta appetizer sounds fabulous

It reminds me of a Cooking Light Recipe called Basil Shrimp with Feta and Orzo. I'll have to see if I could dig it out.
