So I'm a total margarita nut and want to try as many as I can our next trip! What are your favorite flavors?

Also, I read on another thread that the avacado flavor is very smooth and doesn't taste like guacamole at all? What does it taste like?

I can't describe it but I can confirm that it's delicious. It has a little bit of a melon flavor to it. It's refreshing and I can't wait to have one in couple of weeks. Another really good flavor to try is the blood orange margharita.:thumbsup2

I've had the blood orange and cucumber and both were delish! My Husband plays it pretty safe and stuck with the classic and said it's one of his favorites...this coming from a man who refuses to use a mix at home and has to mix his own with lime juice, orange liquer, tequila, agave nectar and his own special salt for the rim!

To me, they taste like strawberry-banana, with a hint of melon. Don't shy away from this one, it's absolutely delicious. My DW and I have spent a LOT of time in "the ditch" (aka La Cava del Tequila) and tried every single one.

Our favorite, by FAR, has changed names once or twice. It used to be called the "piña". Whichever one has pineapple in it, is absolutely fantastic.

I really prefer the classic margarita from Mexico pavillion!! Love, love it! I did discover that I also like the Italian margarita this past year. Can't wait to have another next month.

Hey, I would love to have that special margarita recipe that your husband has with the special salt on the rim.

Where you need to go is La Cava de Tequlia in the Mexico Pavilion. It is a bar dedicated to tequila. They have hundreds of tequilas to choose from and plenty of margaritas. All of which are great. Very potent though. They are not like the margs you will find around any resort or the rest of Epcot.
They pack a punch, so be ready. They are also pretty expensive, starting at $12.50 (in feb 2011), so also be prepared for that.

I have had the cucumber and it was delish. Very light, refreshing and yet a bit sweet, as it had basil in it.

They staff is very knowledgable, as Disney brought them in from Mexico to educate and run the bar.

Enjoy!!

Are you talking about the frozen ones from the stand outside or from La Cava del Tequila?

The frozen ones outside aren't any good.

My favorite margarita at La Cava so far is the Pepino (Cucumber)!

The jalepeno margarita at the Cava de tequila was great. A little heat, but not overpowering. A great drink in the heat. Be careful, it was pretty strong.

So the ones at Cava de Tequila are pretty strong? Are the rest pretty mild then? And I think I'm def going to try the avacodo one! And maybe the cucumber one too?

My favorite was the blood orange one at the tequila bar in Epcot.

Blood Orange :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

The avocado margarita at La Cava was outstanding. I also had the jalepeno. It was okay but I enjoyed the avacado much more.

I always get a fire mango margarita at La Hacienda in Epcot. It is the only time I drink alcohol other than an occasional wine and it is the best margarita I have ever had.
