DH & I are planning to head here as part of our "night out" after the little ones go to sleep.

There are too many great choices!

What is your favorite out of the ones I listed? (The spicy or savory ones don't appeal to me)

Thanks!

We wanted to try the avocado margarita last weekend, but when we went the wait to get a drink was over an hour! The line went way up the stairs.

Really?? UGH, I didn't expect it to be that busy :( I wonder how the wait is during the week? We will be there on a Tuesday night.

We were there for race weekend and it was about 1 pm on Saturday. I was shocked. Hopefully that was an aberration. I'm going back in July and will give it another shot.

I loved the blood orange when I had it there, but the Mexico booth at the Food & Wine Festival had the jalapeño and it was incredible.

Tasty and really different. Not too sweet or too sour with background heat that left your lips tingling.

IMG_3195.JPG The avocado is so delicious! We queued for about 15-20 minutes before entering the bar and ordering. During F&W last fall.
Ask for a sample at least. It was surprisingly good.

Avocado is delicious!! La Cava is always busy I think, we go when they 1st open because I hate the line. They are expensive though.

Can't wait until the outdoor version, Choza, opens up. I haven't had a bad margarita there yet.

I will have to do that then. I don't like sweet, but want to try the blood orange, also the jalapeno one sounds good but with both, I wouldn't want a full drink if I'm not going to want it after one sip.

Love the cucumber and avocado. We've found if you actually sit at a table and not do the take out, you don't have to wait as long.

Pro-Tip: Check the wait for a table --- we were a group of two race weekend Saturday at ~3PM and the line was outrageous. We put our name on the list, did a little shopping, got our table, had margs and chips and queso. As we were leaving, we noticed the person we would have been behind in line was just getting into the bar area to order. It may not always work out that well, but it's worth a try if the line is super long.

ETA: Avocado, definitely the avocado!
