Last time we where in Paratere Place and it was lovely! A little "away" so nice a quiet but close to a bridge for a quick access, and a pool near by too. We where on the corner of the resort that had the river, and the woods. You could see the road / bridge, river and main buildings. It was very nice.
We have also been in water-view at oak manor twice, and that room was just as nice. The rooms seem all convient. And there are several bridges and pools.
BUT, we have stayed in alligator bayou 3 times too. It is also a nice change, the rooms do not look as exciting from the outside, but the inside are so cool, I felt like we where in a cabin or camping! We have had buildings 37 and last 38. Building 38 std. room we recieved a woods view (no parking lot here) and a great duck pond right outside our door. With actual real ducks.

It is not a straight forward, set up in the bayou, it is weaving in and out, and a bit confusing till you figure out where you are. BUT don't under estimate it, rent the bikes and check it out, or go for a walk through here if you stay in the mansions. We like pors (since it was DXL-Lndgs), so its like 2 different resorts that you can stay in.
Our last stay at Pors was march 05 we where in #38 before the wonder cruise a few days, and after our cruise we came back to PP, (our own version of land and sea)

So this was fairly recently, both rooms had been nice rehab, fairly recently.
