Favorite Magic Kingdom ts restaurant?

What is your favorite MK table service restaurant? I'm looking for someplace for our first nights dinner. I'm sure the kids won't be up for leaving and going to a resort to eat on the first day. Thanks

The Crystal Palace is a must for me at least once a trip for either breakfast or dinner. On my upcoming trip, I'm going for lunch on one day, then an early breakfast on my last day.

Crystal Palace - we have been for both breakfast and dinner and both were equally good.

We've only done Crystal Palace for breakfast and Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. We have never done the Castle (boys would not be caught dead eating in a castle ). Therefore, I would say Plaza Restaurant. It is just salads and sandwiches, but the portions are huge and we enjoy it as a change of pace from all the "heavy" meals we eat during our trip. They also have great shakes and sundaes.

Crystal Palace. What better way to start your trip than with a nice character meal. We've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there and every meal has been great.

liberty tree tavern is good, but we actually stopped doing any TS at MK as DH likes to have a beer with a TS and MK is dry

Crystal Palace!

We did Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree our last trip. We enjoyed everything about CP. Pooh and friends were great and enjoyed the food on the buffet. Beautiful restaurant. Liberty Tree has characters in the evening at least until January I hear. We loved the characters and atmosphere, but found the food to be average. We enjoyed both though.

Thanks for all of the input. It seems pretty even Crystal Palace/Liberty, so I was able to get both. Crystal Palace on our first evening(a friday) and on Tuesday we have Liberty Tree Tavern.Thanks again for the help

I wasnt too sure about eating Dinner at Crystal Palace, but I made the reservation anyway. I am glad now I did after seeing all these posts!
