Fellow Dis'ers I need some help! I am on a mission to find the perfect magazine for my niece for Christmas. She is 12 and loves all things disney channel. Can you all offer up some suggestions to what is the perfect magazine for her as a gift?

umm im 13 and i still get American Girl magazine. I still love them and they are full with great ideas! I also get National Geographic but those might not be her type. They are kind of outdoorsey.

Disney Adventures or American Girl. I used to read American Girl all the time. Those were the days..

I like Vogue Italia, but that's not something a 12 year old girl usually reads.

I really enjoy Discovery Girls magazine. I am 12 and the magazine is recommended for ages 8-12. I have seen articles that are from 14 year old girls in it, though. It is age apropriate, too. There is no gossip in it that is fake. It is kind of like American Girl, but a LOT better! It has fashion tips, advice for girls, embarrasing moments, and much more! Each issue they go to a state and choose 12 girls to be featured by doing a photo shoot, helping out in the articles, and having a profile in the magazine(I can't wait until they come to my state!). The magazine has lots of articles on friendship problems and enemies. Your niece will enjoy this magazine. It has one interview with a star. Most of the interviews are Disney Channel stars. There was this one issue that had a Nickoloden star(Miranda Cosgrove from iCarly). But other than that, most of the interviews are from Disney Channel stars. I would recommend it for your niece.

Umm... my youngest sister is 14, and when she was twelve she read Seventeen, Teen Vogue, and Cosmo Girl. And if there was a Cosmo, Vogue, Allure, or anything around, she'd read it.
