Trying to get an idea of where we will eat our quick meals, so what are your favorite "counter service" lunch spots in all four parks?

MK- Cosmic Rays

Epcot- Sunshine Seasons / Electric Umbrella

AK- Flame Tree BBQ

DHS- Backlot Express (opens @11:30 I think)

On a side note, we also try to eat right at 11:00 to beat the crazy lunch madness.

Magic Kingdom - Columbia Harbor House

Epcot - Sommerfest...I like the brats!

Animal Kingdom - Yak and Yeti counter service

Hollywood Studios - no preference; none of it is good :(

AK - Flame Tree

DHS - Toy Story Pizza Planet

Epcot - Boulangerie/Tangerine Cafe (tie)

MK - Columbia Harbor House

Eat early or late to beat the crowds.

And I'll cheat by providing multiple choice since you don't mention the number of days in parks.

MK - Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bill's the Cosmic Ray's

DHS - Backlot Express and Studio Catering

DAK - Flame Tree and Pizzafari (We sometimes get food at both and meet)

Epcot -Future World - Sunshine Seasons which has a wide variety of food World Showcase - we often get food from several places and eat together.

Biergarten, Boulangerie, Tangierine Cafe, Yorkshire Fish

AK-Flame Tree-- BBQ anthing

EPCOT-Tangierine Cafe--lamb wrap,taboulleh,lentils,baklava,moorish coffee if cold out

HS--Honestly can't remember a CS meal there
MK--Don't think I've had a CS there since I was a teenager and miss the kettlecorn I used to snack on

MK - Peco Bill's
AK - Restauransaurus (Dinoland)
HS - Pizza Planet
EP - too many to choice

Here is our list:

MK: Pecos Bill or Cosmic Rays
DHS: ABC Commissary
Epcot: Electric Umbrella
AK: Restaurantasaurus or Yak & Yeti CS

MK---I always eat at Pecos Bills...I think we will try Cosmic Rays this year

AK--I don't think I've ever eaten CS here, but I am going with Flame Tree

HS--Back Lot---last time you could build your own burger...yum

EP--Here's the thing...I always eat at Electric Umbrella..and it's gross...I do love the Patisserie...oh lord the ham and cheese croissant...

MK-Pecos Bill's. (In the hundreds of times that I have been in the MK, I seem to always find myself in Frontier Land or Adventure Land at lunch time, and go to Pecos Bill's. That is not to say that it is better than the very similar Cosmic Ray's. It just seems that I always end up there:confused3)

DHS-ABC Commissary, but only for the Chicken Curry Bowl. Otherwise, I stick with a turkey leg, as most of the CS offerings at DHS are sub-par.

AK-Flame Tree. Always.

Epcot-Again, this has more to do with timing than actual preference, but after spending the morning in FW, we always find ourselves heading to WS around lunch time as the crowds in FW become too much. We start at Mexico and can never seem to get past La Cantina without stopping to eat. Next time I am going to force myself to make it all the way to Germany for brats.

MK- Cosmic Rays (although I really want to try Pecos Bill)
AK- Pizzafaria
DHS- Starring Rolls
EP- Uk Pavillion

AK: Yak & Yeti (TS) or Flame Tree (CS)
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons or Yakitori House (CS)
DHS: Sci Fi (TS)
MK: Columbia Harbour House (CS)

AK - Picnic in the park (I believe this is only offered seasonally now, but when we did it in the fall of '09 it was great and worked out well, and was a great value)

EP - Sunshine Seasons

MK - Probably Pinocchio Village Haus (really, anything but Peco Bills)

HS - Starring Rolls (really, more breakfast/brunch, but we always eat there)

Although it's at Blizzard Beach, my favorite name for one is Avalunch. Avalunch? I'm not saying that.

MK Columbia Harbour House followed closely by Pecos Bill
AK Flame Tree Barbeque
DHS Nothing is great but Backlot Express is okay
EC We love eating in the CS international spots in WS.
Sommerfest in Germany for brats and beer, Yakatori House in Japan, Tangerine Cafe in Morrocco, French Bakery in France, Yorkshire County Fish in the UK and Cantina de San Angel in Mexico
Enjoy

MK - Pecos Bill for the do-it-yourself fixings bar that includes sauteed mushrooms

Ep - Sunshine Seasons for hot foods or salads and the ability to sit down indoors to eat; Boulangerie in France for awesome sandwiches and huge choice of desserts.

HS - Starring Rolls

AK - Flame Tree BBQ

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons & Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary & Backlot Express.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ & Pizzafari.

AK - Flame Tree BBQ

Epcot - Boulangerie Patisserie

HS - Starring Rolls

MK - don't really have a favorite...Cosmic Ray's is ok and so is Columbia Harbour House, but I don't really like either enough to call them a favorite. If it were up to me, I'd just have Dole Whips and cookie sandwiches from the bakery for lunch! ;)
