Favorite loops/sites & suggestions

Hi - we have reserved 3 sites for a family get-together in June. We are staying 5 nights at the Beach Club Villas and then moving to FW for 6 nights in our RVs. We have a 36 ft Travel Trailer and are renting 2 Class C campers for the kids and their families. I would love to be within walking distance of the main pool. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions on how to maximize the fun? I did reserve preferred sites, but I am not even sure what that means!

There are actually only 3 Preferred site loops left - 100, 200, 300, with 300 being a pet loop. None of these are particularly close to the pool (MAP) although 300 isn't too far a walk.
