Just being there is the best part, it's such a happy relaxed kind of feeling :goodvibes

1) The monorail ride to baggage claim @ MCO. That's when I really feel like I'm on vacation.
2) The fire smell in Spaceship Earth
3) All of the different types of pavements in Animal Kingdom
4) People Mover
5) Seeing the balloon sellers on Main Street U.S.A.
6) The sound of the torches being blown out before Illuminations. It always gives me chills!
7) Watching DH enjoy Mickey pops
8) The jumping fountains at Epcot
9) Walking over the sparkley sidewalks & under the twinkley trees on my way out of Epcot after Illuminations
10) There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

Some of my favorites:

1. The first glimpse of the castle!

2. The fiber optic sidewalks in Epcot.

3. Seeing couples with bride/groom ears and smiling as I imagine that to be me someday.

4. Throwing coins into Cinderella's wishing well each trip, making my wish!

5. The smells! Cotton candy, cookies, sunscreen, and that unmistakable DISNEY smell that is just everywhere!

6. Seeing Mickey! It reminds me of being 3 years old again.

7. Surprises! There's always something on each trip that surprises me happily- whether it's a gifted fastpass, towel animal, or a helpful CM, or a "something" extra.

8. The lobby at the Poly and the torch lit paths.

9. Tonga toast at Kona cafe.

10. Adventurers' Club song!

11. Conversations with magical guests and CM's. I always have a few that make my trip!

12. Fiesta Margaritas!

13. My first ride- whatever it is, it feels amazing that first moment my feet leave the ground!

14. Monorail ride- passing by everything I love, my heart just pounds!

15. Disney's Boardwalk- I love walking around there!

16. Seeing a little kid who is bursting with excitement and happiness.

17. My first step onto Sunset at the Studios. It reminds me of when I worked there and I usually end up crying. It always feels like I'm 19 again and I've never left and the past 7 years haven't even happened.

18. Coming back to a clean, quiet, peaceful room to sleep and dream of my next day.

-Getting on Magical Express and watching the welcome video with all the characters-it's so cute and gets you so pumped!
-Ditto the person who said the Monorail at MCO (when I'm on ANY monorail, I'm in Disney mode-although it's depressing when you go on that thing AFTER your vacation is over)
-Resort TV
-SpectroMagic (especially the very beginning with those loveable clowns and Mickey Mouse!)
-A Margarita in Mexico and Kier Royale in France
-Dole Whip
-A ride on the monorail (ditto: Por favor...)
-Listening to all my Disney music at home and on the plane until we get there
-A picture of the castle (even though they all look the same)
-The backgroung Music (like Sunset Blvd, Main St USA, Frontierland,...)
-The view from California Grill
-A little break on, and the scenery and sound from, Tom Sawyer Island
-The little quiet areas of the World (such as Tom Sawyer Island, the International Gateway to Boardwalk, The deck from California Grill where you can see eveything but not hear it, the walking paths at the hotels,...)
-Also, ditto the TTA
-Jellyrolls
-my digital/video cameras
-merchandise such as pins and ornaments
-BUT MY #1 LITTLE THING OF ALL TIME IS...Getting off the monorail to THE Magic Kingdom and seeing the train pull into the station ringing it's bell. It's this most welcoming introduction into a world that seems so peaceful and happy, and so far from your everyday life. It just takes you away from everything and makes you smile and gives you goosebumps (and if you're like me, gets you a little teary-eyed). Walking off that monorail and seeing the the station and Main St USA and seeing the castle behind it while you're on the monorail is such a surreal moment. It's like your entering another world, going back in time to this wonderful ,magnificent happy place, just as Walt intended it.
Ok, the list can go on and on, so I'll end it on that note.
:tinker:
